Jennet inhaled a deep breath as soon as the phone call ended. Luckily, Luca was an understanding person because she was being a jerk for forcing her boss to end the call.

No one has ever done that to Luca before, probably.

Marvina raised her head. "Who called? It sounds quite important," she said.

Jennet looked at her. "It’s our big boss," she answered with a sigh.

"Mira?" Marvina guessed. No one other than Mira could make Jennet sigh so much.

"No, the other big boss," Jennet denied the first guess.

Marvina eyebrows knitted as she made another guess, "Mr Tybelg?"

Jennet nodded and sighed again. She was unhappy when Marvina mentioned that name.

Marvina asked another question, “What does he want? It is rare for him to call you."

Jennet sighed deeply. Somehow, she was unwilling to tell Marvina about her lunch date with Luca.
