Ever since the whip of this man had touched him, he'd been feeling some sort of fluctuation in his power. It wasn't that noticeable, but he could definitely feel it. He knew the whip was one of the twenty four treasured possession of the church, but he hadn't heard of it possessing any power at all. Something was definitely going on with the wielder of the weapon. He had some sort of trick up his sleeve. Perhaps he was resisting equality to an extent. If so, then he might be a bigger threat than Nicholas had described.

Hollister evaded a rogue slash aimed at his side before covering the distance between him and his opponent in a flash. He'd been getting accustomed to the whip's movement, and ever since then, his opponent hasn't been in good shape.

He landed a blow to the man's face with the intention to knock him out, but the man persisted. They'd been repeating this cycle for a while now, and despite his attempts to knock the man out, he kept fighting back.
