Chatting With Girls And Preparing For One More
A few days later, after completely healing from that fateful day, on top of the coral island in which their base was hidden, Neji and Karin watched the sea and felt the light moist breeze it produced from time to time. However, there was Kiyomi present as well levitating in her blue-like chakra soul form beside them. Her real body leaned against a small coral part nearby. She was practicing that technique as much as it was possible to do safely because she wanted to finally move to another level of the Perfect Susanoo, enter the so-called middle Six Paths level that Neji mentioned, and then finally attempt to take some first steps of her revenge, "Kiyomi, you look so funny in that form! Just relax for while. What is the point of always training?", Karin beside suddenly sighed and asked.
"How could you understand? You just write some kind of seals inside your room and pester Neji all day. And you still somehow managed to get on my level and acquire that ability...? It's so unfair...", Kiyomi lamented. Karin was extroverted, emotional, and over-concerned with romantic matters, totally opposite of herself. That's why they usually don't converse all that much. Although, they often fought against one another with Neji as the judge recently as they were now both on the same level, "What!? I don't pester Neji! Neji likes my company, especially my cooking skills, isn't it true Neji?", Karin suddenly got playfully offended and asked Neji in a flirty manner while winking.
"It's mostly true Karin however sometimes you really take it too far...", Neji heard that and answered seriously. He generally didn't mind her company, especially now that he finally accepted her feelings for him and reciprocated them ever since that event back against Toneri. He really liked her cooking as she said as well. She would often look for some fish and other kinds of seafood and then prepare it for him in various ways that Neji didn't even know how she found or thought out in the first place.
Although, sometimes she could really be too much to handle for him. She often borderline harassed him and demanded all of his time and then wanted all kinds of shows of affection. She also always wanted to talk with him about his life, his hobbies, and everything related to him that could be talked about. It seemed to Neji that shinobi matters were always last on the list of priorities in her mind. And they were on that list, in the first place, because she thought that it was the best way for her to be useful to him in the future, not because of anything else. Well, she did like fuinjutsu a bit.
After all, she was not like Kiyomi whose main goal was vengeance, Karin's main goal was Neji, then tens of empty places, and then eventually that matter regarding the promised resurrection of the Uzumaki clan. And even with again, she planned to work together with Neji in the kind of dirty way that you would think. Well, to be fair, Neji told her to start looking for the Uzumaki survivors a few years later after they all hopefully deal with the Otsutsuki clan and other threats on Earth, not now.
He already informed both of them of the Otsutsuki clan and how they will be their biggest enemies in the future. He now had almost obsession-like feelings regarding them. He hated the notion of someone being so stronger than him and then having the right to look down on or even humiliate him. Therefore, he never stopped training like a maniac. He often even dreamed about some unknown Otsutsuki clan member coming down from the starry sky and then stepping on his head. During the day, he sometimes used them as motivation while training by visualizing them inside his head, which helped. In his mind, Obito and Toneri were nothing in comparison to those real aliens.
"Anyways... Kiyomi, you're just jealous! Don't think that I don't know how you occasionally peek at Neji when he isn't looking...", Karin already considered Neji as the most perfect kind of guy there is, therefore, it was normal to her that other girls should be enamored with him too. In her mind, it was impossible for Kiyomi to not be in love with him after all this time. It felt unnatural and weird to her.
"You're imagining it in your head. Not everyone is as weird as you.", Kiyomi didn't take her words seriously. She disliked such carefree people like Karin, however, due to her strength, she still respected her a bit. Therefore, she could still bring herself to converse with her from time to time.
"Damn, that hurt, Kiyomi. Am I that unattractive to you that I don't even deserve just a peek?", Neji suddenly took a playful offense and smiled at Kiyomi. He now even started to tease her from time to time as their relationship too somehow strangely progressed from that time in the Land of Fire.
"Cut it, Neji, I'm not so simple as Karin. Those tactics don't work on me!", Kiyomi remarked back immediately. She got a lot more talkative than before, though she didn't catch onto that just yet.
"Yes, as if I believe you. Even if they worked, you would probably never admit it due to your shut personality.", Neji quipped. In his opinion, he would've already conquered her if not for her revenge obsession. And as soon as that was over, she was going to be in his hands Neji thought. She was also hooked, same as Karin, but she didn't know of it yet. He suddenly looked at her a bit funnily.
"Hey, Neji, what have you wanted to talk about? Let's talk about it now!", Karin suddenly interjected after noticing Neji's gaze toward Kiyomi. He often did stare at her recently, especially at her busty chest. Karin suddenly looked down at her own, much flatter bosom and turned angry at herself, 'Well, at least I have a better butt!', However, then she comforted herself once again in another way.
"Ah yes, I will be gone for a while. I'm going to Konoha to bring that girl, I talked to you about, here and I have another thing to deal with her...", Neji suddenly mentioned to which Karin exclaimed in surprise. She immediately turned jealous because Neji already told her his whole history with that girl. She understood that she knew Neji from his childhood days and that she was his first love ever. Kiyomi also brought one of her eyebrows up after hearing that but remained silent as if she didn't care anything about that matter. Neji just snickered at that and then went forward to comfort Karin.
He instantly hugged her, "Don't worry Karin, I told you, didn't I? You are very important to me, no less than that girl. We won't stop spending time together even when she comes, so don't worry!", He then touched her hair a little while complimenting her, "After all, how could I ever abandon this beautiful tomato-like hair of mine...", "Heh...?", Karin first enjoyed Neji's attention but then turned a bit angry and shameful at his words. But, Neji did manage to wash all of her worries regarding Tenten with that gest. Neither one of them was worried for his safety while going to Konoha alone now thanks to his power boost. And soon Neji waved toward Kiyomi and left their island speedily.
While soaring above the open sea next, Neji ruminated about his previous conversation with Karin. After all, this was a world where strength reigned supreme, in his mind, and as long as you could protect them, then you could have multiple wives. It was not his previous world anymore. He didn't feel bad about any of them because he would love and care for them all equally. In his opinion, one man-one wife was just a societal construct of his past life. In fact, for him, polygamy appeared more natural, especially here in a world like this one. He also started thinking about his change over the past few years next. Previously he was way more introverted and cold, never thinking about matters such as this one, however, his change in power also brought him a change in personality too and there was no escaping that. And frankly, he didn't feel bad about it, he liked being so mentally free.
He then turned to think about the Tenten's matter. He previously decided to bring her together with him as soon as he recovered. He was going to blitz into Konoha and pick her up before any of them managed to react, not that they could stop him either way. He even thought intensively about some ways in which he could power her up during the last few days while recovering. He didn't think that it was impossible, after all, where there was a will, there was a way. It was his primary life philosophy.
There was no destiny set in stone in which Tenten had to remain weak, like in the original series, for the rest of her life. He changed his own fate with his two hands and he could change her's as well if he focused his mind on it. And he had done just that, previously he went over various information he remembered from his previous life and then checked a few things personally inside of this world to be sure. He then formulated an elaborate plan of action regarding Tenten's power advancement.
The first thing on his mind was Hashirama Senju's cells. Right after successfully infusing her with them, Tenten would surely enter the Kage level ranks, if she already didn't, which he thought was less likely thanks to that personal fuinjutsu creation of hers. After that, he decided to bring her to one mysterious place called the Hoshikagure, with he checked through a few channels yesterday, and it really did exist in this world surprisingly. He got a really fascinating idea regarding the place.
Hoshigakure was formed sometime after a strange meteorite, which the inhabitants called the Star, struck its location two hundred years earlier. The meteorite itself was not that large, but it emitted chakra-enhancing radiation. The First Hoshikage was able to devise a training method to allow the ninja in the village to harness the power of the Star, thus allowing the ninja to gain supernatural chakra levels. The technique used to harness its power was called the Mysterious Peacock Method.
The meteorite's radiation greatly increases users' chakra strength and levels, but the same enhanced chakra is highly dangerous, potentially causing great damage to their physical bodies. Even for those who master the technique, there is still a high chance that their body will slowly weaken and eventually perish. Therefore, Neji didn't think for Tenten to use it directly, but to actually coat all of her sealed weapons in that energy in order to make them more dangerous and destructive in force.
Neji thought that the Star was one of the few powers which came from other planets or dimensions inside of the Ninja World. Just like Orochimaru's and Itachi's spiritual weapons, and that strange beast from the Land of Demons called the Moryo. That territory was also real. After thinking of Hoshigakure, Neji also tried to test if other places, from fillers of his previous life, were also real in this universe, he was currently in, however, besides the Hoshigakure only the Land of Demons was.
Regarding other planets with chakra, even with different usages of chakra than they did here in the Ninja World, Neji thought that it was absolutely possible. After all, if there was the Otsutsuki clan whose sole purpose was looting planets like this one for their endless evolution, then it was obvious that they were more planets of similar levels. Though, Neij remembered reading in his past life that this planet was a little more special than usual due to its natural energy concentration which was higher than ordinary, enough for multiple God Trees to be planted. And if there was the Otsutuski clan, then what is to say that there aren't more clans like them, of similar statuses, in the universe?
And what made it even more interesting was that they were the only two places that perfectly fit inside of the Naruverse geography maps of Neji's previous life. They were on the far West of the continent, right between the Land of Wind and the Land of Earth. It was definitely great to know.
And with Senju cells, her personal fuinjutsu Pressure Wave which fit perfectly with them, because she needed more chakra, and if she manages to coat her weapons into that Star's purple chakra, Neji thought that Tenten could even become the peak Kage level, even above the great Sannins.
'And then if she manages to get those Sage of Six Path's weapons from Kinkaku and Ginkaku, like in the original, and If I manage to steal those Seven Swords of the Mist for her... With her innate talent for controlling all kinds of weapons, she would become a truly unstoppable force for most people. I even dare to think that she could even enter the early Six Paths level too...', Neji contemplated next.
Nevertheless, Neji assumed that those developments were only possible later after the Fourth Great Ninja World War started as those weapons of Sage of Six Paths were somehow attached to Kinkaku and Ginkaku's souls. It wasn't surprising knowing that they were made from Hagoromo's chakra and were probably not physical, but spiritual weapons made out of his Yin or even his Yin-Yang Release. The combined Yin-Yang Release was only accessible to Otsutsuki or half-Otsutsuki beings innately.
Even the creation of the world-famous Seven Swords of the Mist must've involved some nature of Yin Release in the process of its creation at least. After all, how could've Zabuza gotten his sword, after being resurrected by Kabuto, from the other side of the world, if it was now somehow connected to his spiritual power too? Other swords were also sealed by Mangetsu Hozuki inside of his scroll so Neji would need to wait until he gets revived later to rob all those weapons for Tenten.
