Dead, means the person has gone to the afterlife.
It didn't sit well with the Lords.
"Is she dead or what?" Lord Luthur asked with a slight frown on his face.
The thought of her being dead when through their minds as they didn't want to believe it.
"I don't think she is dead." Lord Raul said checking the temperature of Ariel's body.
Her body was continuously vibrating. Her bedsheet was all soaked with sweat.
"Why is her body acting this way?" Lord Orpheus was the one to ask.
The Lords didn't know what to do. This kind of thing hasn't happened to them before and they haven't been a witness to it until now.
"Amira can be of help." Lord Louisville suggested.
On hearing her name, Lord Luthur sneered. "What can she possibly do?" His frown deepened.
The other Lords turned to look at him. They knew he had a problem with Amira because of his redemption but they didn't dare to butt in.
"Only she knows what's happening to Princess Ariel." Lord Raul confirmed.
"Aren't you mad at her for locking you up in a coffin? Like who does that?" Lord Luthur retorted with an angry tone.
Lord Raul thought about what the man had just said. That was a cruel punishment she gave to him but he disobeyed the rules and deserved that so he wasn't holding anything against Amira.
He faces the angry man with an ugly expression on his face. "I deserved that punishment for failing to abide by the rule."
"What stupid rule?" The angry Lord was ready to pick up a fight.
Lord Luthur glared at Lord Raul with a disgusted look. "Don't you think you need to grow up?" With that, he left the room.
"Not everyone can have a heart filled with anger and hatred like yours."
That was audible enough to Lord Luthur's hearing, even though he had already left the room.
"Let's take her to Amira." Lord Louisville concluded.
However, Ariel's soul was in another area. She was tempted to enter the river of Valox.
A voice kept on calling her but she hesitated.
"Come child. This is where you belong." The voice spoke.
Ariel was confused. She couldn't do anything because she was hypnotized by the voice.
Seeing that the young lass was been reluctant, the water formed a beautiful feminine creature. The water demon.
She was sent to convince the girl to enter the river. For some unknown purpose that can be later revealed.
"Why are you so stubborn, child?" The water demon spoke with a gentle tone, enough to melt the girl's heart.
Ariel was good with self-defense. She didn't want to abide by the woman's words. She was been hypnotized and at the same time still hesitating, she didn't understand why.
"Who are you? What do you want from me?" She asked with a shakey voice.
The woman laughed evilly. "I can see you're beyond hypnosis. But I can make you abide by my rules." The woman blurted.
Ariel was scared by the water demon's remarks. She wanted to escape and go back to where she came from. That would be very difficult for her because she didn't know anything about her whereabouts. Ariel gathered enough courage to face the woman.
Words, her father often tells her she could overcome her present situation.
"You can overcome fear with courage."
This was what she had to use to overcome her fear.
"What do you want from me?" She turned to face the woman.
The woman found her words amusing, everything about Ariel amused the woman.
"Princess Ariel of Macbeth. Only you can fulfill destiny." The water demon revealed with a hoarse voice.
Ariel was stunned. How did the water demon know her name and where she came from?
"How did you know who I am?" She asked raising her brow in dismay.
The water demon found a way to persuade Ariel. "I know about your dreams and only I can tell the meaning of them."
Was she the creature in her dreams? No! Vlad was the creature in her dream and the creature was a male, not a female. Ariel's head almost exploded in confusion.
"Are you the creature in my dreams?"
"No! The unknown creature in your dreams would reveal itself to you once it's time." The water demon reassured her with a stern look.
This unknown creature was driving her insane and she had to know who it was. She needed to know the reason behind her nightmares and she was getting close to discovering it.
By the way, she had hurt the creature with an object from the ocean of galaxy on its chest.
"I can help you sort out your doubts, and your fear, give you meanings to your dream and also make your husband love you." The water demon used her long blue finger to rub Ariel's chin. Looking straight into her eyes hypnotically.
How did she know the conflict between her and her husband? This was absurd but she needed a solution for all of it.
"Name your price!"
The woman smiled. "Follow me into the river of Valox and there I'll name my price."
What the hell was this demon trying to make her do? How did she come here in the first place?
Ariel wanted to disappear from this woman's presence.
"Do you want me to die?"
"The aura of the river is supposed to have a great effect on you but it doesn't. You need to know who you truly are!" The woman said.
Know who she truly is?
This was too much for Ariel to handle. "I'm a human being. The princess of Macbeth as you've presumed."
The water demon laughed out loud. She was amused by the confidence that the young lass possess. "A brave one. Just follow me."
While the woman started walking down the river, Ariel stood behind, watching the water demon's every move. She also needed to know the circumstances surrounding her so she reluctantly followed the woman.
Before Ariel could step foot into the water, someone from nowhere dragged her away and disappeared with her.
