Samael stood before me, his head held high. The haughty look on his face was nothing I'd never seen before. His dark, mischievous gaze, however, was something straight out of a human's nightmare. The devilish, porcelain-colored grin contrasted with the deep and rich warmth of his skin. I found my eyes traveling from the heavy set of eyelashes framing his sharp eyes, following his piercing gaze and eventually landing on the peaceful sleeping human. The challenge lying deep in those resentful eyes almost made my blood run cold.
"You see, Prince Azrael-" The revolting ego in his deep voice was grating my ears. "There is not a single reason why I should take your empty threats seriously. You are nothing but a crybaby who's doing the absolute most to rebel against his dadd-"
Before his breath left his miserable lungs, my fist was surrounding his neck, he gulped, his throat flexing against my hold. The reaper's eyes brightened, and his sick grin almost reached his ears.
I'm back!
Creation is hard, cheer me up!
