章 3: Chapter3
Its been exactly one year and I feel amazing I have mastered several charms and my occlumency shields are at there highest I am also practiceing passive legilimency on the kids in the ophanage to read there minds was easy they had no shields so I tore right through them but then kids started complaining of headaches and I stopped I am no monster afterall.
But anyway today is the day I recieved my letter addressed to Jon Snow.
Suddenly a knock at the door and a 'Jon theres someone to see you' from the matron and I am up with a "Come in".
In walks a man with a crooked nose wearing black robes along with the matron.
"Hello Jon this man is here to offer you a scholarship to a prestigious school for special people"said
Severus Snape; a tall, thin, sallow faced man with black eyes and greasy hair, quietly handing me an envelope as the matron left the room.
"Open it." The man prompted, his voice a soft, contained thing.
I obeyed, reading its contents while my mind began to whirr with the possibilities. The letter was the typical Hogwarts acceptance letter.
"Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry."I say aloud
"So you can do magic to huh" I say to him
"What do you know about magic" he asks in a firm voice
I then levitate the letter in my hand up and down
"Wandless magic very strange for someone so young"he says in a controlled voice
"I have on started practicing recently but I have always know I was special different from others"I say in a neutral tone
"You will learn great things at hogwarts"he says
"But I can't pay for tuition, or my supplies." I finally said, keeping my eye on the list of school supplies.
"Your tuition is free, and the Ministry of Magic has set aside a small fund for those without the means." Snape smoothly replied.
"The Ministry of Magic?" I asked, looking in his direction but not meeting his eyes directly. This man was an accomplished Occlumens and Legilimens.And I wasn't ready to test my shields yet
"Our government." He said with a tone of finality as he got up from his chair gesturing for me to follow as he moved towards the exit. "Come along now, Mr. Snow. You must get dressed and ready."
"We're going now?" I balked at the abruptness of the entire experience.
Snape did not dignify me with an answer.
