Inside the forest located far away from their house, Merlin, Shin and Rei where resting from their long walk under the foot of a long tree. "Grandpa when are we going to start the training" Rei broke the silence amongst them
"right away"
Merlin answered him while standing up from his sitting spot
"So this is how the training will be, for the first stage, Shin you will be in charge of drawing the beast to us"
"But how will I be able to do that"
"That's a nice question indeed, demonized beast are attracted to magic power, so your job is to attract two or three beast for Rei to face, after that rei will do the same for you
"What if an unwanted beast appears out of nowhere what should I do about it" Rei interrupts while pointing towards a very huge brown bear which had teeth almost the size of a mature human hand and claws as long as the leg of an adult
"Oh? That is a catastrophic level beast.Then we have no choice but to kill it"
"If that is the case let me handle this big guy" Rei said with a smile on his face while walking towards the bear
"hello big guy I'll be your opponent so just focus on me and allow your death to be painless"
Rie then assumed his fighting and clenched his fist
'if I can recall clearly the trick was all about breathing, so
I'm just gonna breath in and out, strengthen my body and bones then attack'

It angrily roared at Rei and began to dash towards him, the temperature around the area started to rapidly increase a yellowish aura began to rise up from Rei's body the little grass that where under his foot or even one feet away from him all weathered due to the heat his body was emitting.
Seconds after seconds the bear was approaching Rei, while Rei just calmly stood there waiting for it to arrive, it was now 16 steps away from him 10 steps, 7 steps, then finally the 3rd step

big guy does this belong to to you" he gesture to the big heart of the bear he was holding, being quite confused the bear stared at its chest only to see a huge hole made by this small being in front of him a being not even able to be called a meal after devouring it, not able to accept such defeat it wanted to end Rei even if possible bringing him down with him but was unable to do it as the cold chills of death took it to the beyond as it fell with a heavy thud
"So can we proceed with the mission at hand" Rei brought back the two out if their wonderland
"Rei what was that technique you just used right now" the bewildered Shin asked him
"Was it that amazing?"
"well of course you were so cool"
"oh? is that so? it's not that complete yet I can't last more than 5 seconds in that form so I still need more practice"
"So it's that why u were waiting for it to strike"
"Exactly, had it been I begun with the first dash I could have collapsed on the way, but don't think I would die because of that weakling''
"oh? well that's my big bro for you" Shin excitedly exclaimed
"So can we proceed with the training" Merlin brought back the two from their chitchat
"So Rei its your turn to attract the beast, Shin get ready to engage in battle" Merlin ordered the two. Rei sat down crossed legged while attracting the beast he was also absorbing in natural energy into his body refining them making them stronger. As for Shin, he wore the pair of boots that Melinda gave to him. After putting on the boots he removed the sword uncle Michel gave him from the scabbard and looked at it closely before positioning himself for battle
Rei released a little amount of mana to attract only the ones close by, not long enough another catastrophic level beast appeared but this time it was a tiger which was as big as the previous bear.
Shin raised his sword crossing face, immediately dashed towards the beast at full speed trying to finish it in one blow just like Rei but failed to notice that he was actually dancing according to the beat of the huge tiger he was facing. Approaching the tiger Shin was about to slash downwards but the tiger also slashed its claws at shin at the same speed, with the aid of the boots he swiftly side stepped dodging the heavy attack of the tiger. On mid air he then noticed the opening defense of the tiger and decided to give for the hit, again with the help of the boot he was able to dash forward at a high speed making it easy to slash the neck if the of the huge tiger. With a thud both the head and the body fell down in the ground.
"Alright that's all for today time to head back home"
Merlin said trying to call the attention of the two but Rei was still in his meditating posture breathing in and out, but this time both the heat and the aura surrounding him were now reduced to the minimum.
"Rei, I said it's time to go. Isn't he listening?"
Merlin makes an attempt to touch him only for his hand to be scorched by the condensed heat around Rei.
"I guess it can't be helped, Shin cast a water magic on him to cool his body temperature" Merlin ordered while casting healing magic on himself
"No need for that" Rei said standing up from his sitting position while dusting the dirt on his cloth
"Wait a minute, so you were aware of what happened?"
"Yeah, is there a problem?" Rei asked in return
"That means you burnt me intentionally, right"
"Don't be ridiculous grandpa, I won't do such a thing "
"He definitely did it" Shin backed Merlin up. A pop of vain appeared on Merlin forehead.
"Don't worry Rei let's get home first then you'll regret ever trying do burn me".
"Oi I'm serious it was all a mistake"
"As if" Shin giggled.
After that, the group went back home for a very long

Middle of the night in the living room were three people discussing about an important matter
"You don't mean it Merlin don't joke around here this can determine their future, how they will live and how society will see them" Melinda barks angrily at Merlin
"Melinda does it look like I'm joking" Merlin replied prompting Melinda who was previously looking at Merlin to turn her gaze
"I don't know for sure but my guess is that they might be from another world or they might be chosen ones of god" Melinda quips in
"I don't care if they are not of this world or beings sent by the gods as far as they called me their grandpa they will definitely be my grandkids" Merlin said with a stern look on his face
"*sigh* I guess I've started to look at them as my grandkids too" Melinda spoke with exasperation. Immediately tension started to build up between Melinda and Merlin as some unwanted memories of the past started to to come back. Noticing the situation Michel wanted to cool of the heat
"But man those kids are something to take down two catastrophic beast without even breaking a sweat"
"Well I think it's about time I told them the truth
The next day
Rei was coming down his room but this time energetic
"Good morning Grandma, Grandpa"
"Good morning to you Rei, you look more active than the other day" Melinda scrutinize Rei
"Yup, I don't know why but I'm just a little bit happier than before" he picks his seat and begins to devour his food.
After the nice meal
"Rei would you mind showing us your newly acquired power" Merlin inquired
"I won't call it my power yet because it is still in the development phase, but I can still show you" Pumping out his bicep muscle
The three of them went outside to the training field, but on their way they met Shin who was doing some rapid sword swings.
"Oi Shin come over I want to show you something too" immediately Shin joined the party.
When they finally reached a favourable sight Rei then started the lesson.
"So just as how humans unconsciously absorb magical energy from the air, I tried to consciously do it but it didn't work, it only exploded when being compressed or maybe I didn't use the right formula. So I went to the root base of everything which was the natural energy" he paused to check if they are following
"So rather than taking magical energy why don't I take in natural energy I asked myself, and that's when I begun, unlike magical that only helps in magic reserves, natural energy works on and improves everything in the body, if a normal punch can kill ten people then a punch mixed with natural energy can kill ten thousand people that is why I was able to kill that beast with a punch under two seconds. I can show an example here now"
Rei then turned towards the vast open lands, and making a stance like he was ready to give a punch. He stretches his right arm backwards and his left arm straight, he then releases the punch which blew up some part of the land and destroying the trees and landscape
"Wow was that the punch" Merlin asked
"No, that's not it I'm just showing you the basic punch, now here's the main thing"

Rei inhaled a large amount of air and releases it the muscles in his body bulged in tremor
"Here I coooomee"he swings his hand at the same speed

The entire area was nothing more than a puff of smoke there was no longer any lifeforms not even grass or the gigantic trees that usually covered the area nothing was found there just barren wasteland. Rei destroyed a land worth a country where millions of people can live. Is this the rebirth of a human or a god....
