章 35: Change of Plans

`Jola , Inside Castle's Meeting Room`
The meeting room is a large, open space with plenty of natural light. It has a long table in the center of the room, and chairs are arranged around the table.
Lily was sitting on the left with her generals and other important members who traveled with her. Lain was sitting on the right sipping coffee brought from Conley, all the admin staff on her right. In the middle Eugene, with papers in his hand.
Today both Lily and Eugene are representing their kingdom hence they have to be respectful of each other's positions and also they are doing a meeting here to propose a trade.
Eugene: Your Highness, we are delighted to welcome you to Jola. Our little kingdom has much to offer, and we hope to forge a strong alliance with Conley.
Lily: Thank you, King Eugene. I am impressed by all that I have seen so far. Your kingdom has great potential.
Eugene: Yes, we have been blessed with many natural resources. One of our most valuable commodities is steel.
Lily was surprised because steel and glass are very difficult to acquire in this era (world) so this was a huge thing.
"I had no idea that Jola produced so much steel. We could definitely use some in our empire."
Eugene smirked: We would be happy to provide you with steel in exchange for livestock.
Lily was again surprised, according to her clearly this deal had no profit for Jola.
"That is a fair trade. I am sure our empires will prosper from this partnership." She said with an awkward smile.

`Holy Kingdom of D.T`
The holy warriors stand amongst the rubble of the once great city, their white cloaks billowing in the breeze. In the distance, they see the warriors from the organization, their black armor gleaming in the sunlight. The two groups stare at each other for a moment, before the warriors from the organization charge forward, swords raised.
The holy warriors meet them head on, their own swords raised in defense. The two groups clash, metal ringing against metal. The holy warriors fight with strength and determination, but the warriors from the organization are relentless. Slowly but surely, the holy warriors begin to fall, one by one.
The last holy warrior standing looks around at the fallen bodies of her comrades and the approaching warriors from the organization. He takes a deep breath and charges forward, sword raised. He fights with all his might, but eventually he too falls.
And with that, the city is lost.
There was a sense of foreboding in the air as the warriors from the organization started to move towards the cathedral. The holy warriors in the cathedral could sense the danger that was coming for them. They had been fighting this war for years through schemes and what not, and they knew that this was the final battle. The warriors from the organization were getting closer and closer, and the holy warriors could see the determination in their eyes. There was a moment of silence as the two groups of warriors faced off against each other, and then the battle began. The holy warriors fought with all their strength, but they were outnumbered and outmatched. The warriors from the organization were relentless in their attack, and eventually they broke through the defenses of the cathedral. The holy warriors were slaughtered, and the cathedral was destroyed. This was the end of the war, and the end of the holy capital.

`Jola inside a private room`
Lily and Eugene were arguing about something.
Eugene: Lily, I know you're upset that I'm not coming with you to Conley Empire, but I really think it's for the best.
Lily: But why? We had everything planned out!
Eugene: I know, but trust me, this is the best way. We can conquer Ancorna from here and I'll be able to help you guys more.
Lily: I don't know...
Eugene: Lily, please. Just trust me on this. I promise it will be better this way. Tell this to Nick and Uncle Andrew.
Lily: alright I guess.. well you made this barren place into a decent kingdom.
As such they finally were on the same page, after that Eugene started telling her about a new plan that is more efficient and less risky.

After Lily left the room Lain walked in and said
Lain: Eugene, we need to talk about your wedding.
Eugene: What about it?
Lain: It's time to start making some decisions. Who is going to be your best man?
Eugene: I don't know. I haven't really thought about it.
Lain: Well, you need to start thinking about it. The sooner we get this wedding planned, the better.
Eugene: Why are you in such a hurry?
Lain: I just want to see you settled down, that's all. And Aria is such a lovely girl. I'm sure she would make a wonderful wife.
Eugene: I suppose you're right.
Lain: So, what do you think about a June wedding?
Eugene: That sounds fine to me.
Lain: Great! I'll start making some calls tomorrow.
As such, plans for the wedding were also going to begin really soon.

`Inside Hughes and Alice's bedroom`
Today both of them took a leave from work.
Alice and Hughes were in bed together, their bodies intertwined in passion. Alice could feel Hughes' hardness pressing against her as they kissed passionately, their tongues exploring each other deeply. She could feel her own desire mounting, and she eagerly slid down Hughes' body, taking him into her mouth. She sucked and licked him expertly, enjoying the taste of him as he moaned in pleasure.
As Alice brought Hughes to the brink of ecstasy, he pulled her up towards him, flipping her onto her back and pushing himself inside her in one smooth thrust. Alice gasped as he filled her, their bodies joined together in perfect harmony. Hughes began to move, each thrust harder and faster than the last as Alice matched his rhythm, their bodies slapping together in a perfect rhythm.
Alice could feel her orgasm building, and she cried out as Hughes drove her over the edge, her body shaking and convulsing in ecstasy. Hughes followed her shortly afterwards, pulling her close as they rode out the waves of pleasure together. Afterwards, they lay in each other's arms, content and satisfied.

Alice: I'm so happy with how Jola City is developing. I don't think his majesty is thinking of going back. So I think it's time for us to have kids.
Hughes: I agree. I think his majesty wants to live peacefully here. So y… yeah

`Conley Empire: Capital City`
Jaren was writing a diary to let his inner feelings out.
[Dear Diary,
I feel like a puppet. I have so many responsibilities as a prince. I even had to kill my own friend to protect the people. I don't know how much longer I can keep this up. I'm starting to crack under the pressure. I don't know why I can't keep my feelings aside and keep protecting my people. Everyone seems to be able to do it. I just want out of this life. But I can't see a way out. I'm trapped here, with no way.]
As soon as he finished writing his diary he heard a knock on the door.
"Your highness, His Majesty Nick has summoned you" said a servant outside the door
"I will be there," said Jaren.
