章 61: Charybdis Attacks
A Few Days Later,
Galahad POV,
Galahad rested his head on the table and sighed, "So why....am I here?" he asked his lips twitching in annoyance, he was having some 'fun' when all of a sudden Milim barged in and dragged him here saying Rimuru was calling him. He was currently sitting in the meeting room where a Dryad was explaining the situation. The other people here were the Kijin, Fuze and some adventurers from Blumund, Vesta the minister from Dwargon (Whom Galahad disliked because he reported Tempest's working to Gazel), Milim, and of course Galahad himself.
Of course this meeting was called because a Dryad came in to report Charybdis' revival. It was good that none of the current Dryads actually recognized Galahad's face otherwise his cover would be blown to shreds. Yes all that was good and all but why the hell was he here?! This didn't concern him at all! He would have just lazed around at home. He yawned and turned the other way as every person in the room looked at him.

About Half an Hour Earlier,
Rimuru POV,
Rimuru had just recieved the report on Charydis coming in and was gathering to hold a meeting so that they could decide their future course of action. Milim raised her hand, "Oh! Oh! Call Galahad too! He's really strong!" she said excitedly, she hadn't seen Galahad fight in a long time and he would definitely have gotten stronger durng that time. This assumption was true because the Sloth skills were in a sense auto-cultivation meaning he accumulated power all the time as he lazed around for millennia. (A/N: FYI I dislike cultivation a lot.)
"Hmm that guy? Really?" Rimuru asked a bit doubtful, that guy was practically harmless! Well he did ignore all orders and advice but still he was harmless. "Umu! Him!" Milim said nodding, she was keeping her mouth shut about his true standing because he asked her to. She could be smart when needed too! Rimuru shook his head, "Well if you say so." her words did hold a lot of credibility and so he sent her to fetch him.

Back to Present,
Galahad POV,
Galahad yawned again and listen on, "If Charybdis has revived, it is a threat greater than a Demon Lord!" Fuze shouted banging his fists on the table, they were in a lot of danger! "Pft-" Galahad almost burst out laughing from that remark, the Demon Lords can destroy nations within a second easily. That thing was more dangerous? All attention fell on him because of his loud voice. Rimuru looked at Galahad and questioned, "What's wrong Galahad?" usually when this guy reacted it was something important.
"Nothing....just ignore me." he said lazily before yawning again, he wasn't going to brag about the others! Rimuru sighed and shook his head, "What the heck that sounds worse than the Orc Lord!" Rimuru said blandly, problems after problems kept heading his way! It was further explained that Charybdis had given birth to several other shark like monsters called Megalodons which would aid it in it's rampage. Charybdis was an unintelligent animal that was born from Veldora and only knew about rampaging and causing destruction.
Furthermore, it is said to stand at the level of a Demon Lord making it a giant threat to the humans. Milim tried to help but was shot down by Shion who declared that since it was their problem they would deal with it themselves even if Rimuru disagreed with that decision. Now all of them were leaving to begin preparations for combating Charybdis believeing that it was a very great threat.
After everyone had left Galahad glanced at Milim who was down since the chance to fight was taken away from her. He smiled and patted her head, "Don't worry....you'll get your..chance." he said making her brighten up, "Really?!" what Galahad said usually happened so she was hopeful. Galahad nodded, "Really." since these events weren't really affected by the butterfly effect his future predictions held true to some extent. She nodded excitedly and both of them followed the people that were headed to deal with Charybdis. Of course Galahad had already ordered Testarossa to bring him popcorn so that he could watch the fight while sitting near a tree.
About an Hour Later,
Galahad sat under the shade with Testarossa standing behind him quietly observing the monstrosity in the air. Milim snagged his popcorn, "Gimme!" Rimuru had lost all semblance of control over her since Galahad spoiled her but this also meant that stuff like this happened. Galahad looked at Testarossa for more, she smiled and bowed gracefully, "I shall be back in a few moments Master." she said politely while looking at the little vixen that hogged her Master's time, maybe Rein was right about child abuse!
Galahad looked at Milim who was watching on while munching on popcorn he then looked at the gigantic monstrositry in the air, "Heh." it only looked intimidating and was actually quite weak. If he were to rank it it would be around catastrophe level and that's it. Yes it may turn over nations if left alone but if a Demon Lord moved, it would be removed within seconds. For comparison, Milim and Guy were ranked as SS class monsters, these required a coalition between the entire world to even have a chance at being combated and even then they could easily destroy the world if they wanted.
Like that the combat started, the Megalodons were dealt with one by one by Tempest's various fighters. After that came the time to directly attack Charybdis itself, however it truly was powerful since it resisted and survived every attack the Kijin threw at it with no actual damage being dealt throughout the day. Eventually Rimuru himself joined the battle as Galahad and Milim watched on curiously.
Even then nothing happened, the monster survived and regenerated from every attack Rimuru sent it's way though it's advance was halted. During the fighting Rimuru was informed by Great Sage that the target Charybdis was here for was in fact Milim Nava and it wasn't here for them at all. Rimuru sighed in relief, if that was the case then he could ask Milim to deal with it!
So he changed directions and flew over to where Milim was supposed to be but stopped when his gaze fell on something. Both Galahad and Milim were asleep right now, with Galahad sleeping against the tree and Milim sleeping on his lap, "Damn riajuus." he commented, what else was he supposed to say?! He wanted that too! His gaze then fell on the white haired maid who looked like she wanted to murder someone, even he fell danger from that look of hers!
He shook his head and landed near them so that he could ask Milim to take care of it but Testarossa appeared in front of him making him jump away, "Don't interrupt Master." she said gracefully with a smile on her face though for some reason Rimuru felt that he was being looked down. It was part of Testarossa personality to look down on everything else!
"But I have to-" he needed to have this problem solved! On a side note though, this lady was quite beautiful but not worth taking a nuke to the face so he shut up. "I said, don't interrupt him." she said smiling widely. "But-" he was again cut off by Testarossa who raised her finger motioning him to stop. Testarossa looked at Charybdis which seemed to be staring forward before grinning, "You said we have to deal with a pest right? Would you mind?" she asked politely, she needed to blow off some steam.
Rimuru shook his head, "Not really. But I want to keep the core alive." he wouldn't mind it but wasn't this woman just a maid? What could she possibly do? That question was answered when Testarossa raised her hand and dozens of magic circles appeared around her, "I see. Begone, pest." she said pridefully launching a barrage of magics that tore through the air and gigantic nuclear explosions enveloped the sky. The previous fighters hurriedly backed away in order to not get caught up in them.
She gave a content sigh as Rimuru blasted away to catch PHobio who was crashing down like a meteor. Blowing things up with nuclear magic really was a great stress reliever, perhaps she could accompany her Master next month to blow up the walls of the Eastern Empire, though those people were treating it like a national holiday now. Hell the capital even became a tourist spot! Come to the Empire we have a holiday where the walls of the kingdoms are blown up!
Rimuru who had just caught Phobio looked at the devastation and sweat dropped, "It really is always the quiet ones." he muttered, she easily blew apart an individual said to be at the level of a Demon Lord and that was a maid! Just what kind of monster was Galahad then?! "Maybe he really is... Nah couldn't be right?" he said laughing dryly. Vesta told him about the Demon Lord Galahad but if this Galahad really was one he wouldn't look harmless, he would be more like Milim! is what Rimuru thought.

Galahad POV,
Galahad who had woken up a few moments ago yawned and stretched his arms. His gaze fell on the sleeping Milim making him slightly smile before he ruffled her hair making her wake up immediately. She looked to where Charybdis was supposed to be but noticed it wasn't there. Galahad scratched the back of his head, "Oops?" he said, how was he supposed to know this would happen? Who killed it in the first place?!
He looked to Testarossa who smiled smugly, she placed a hand on her chest and held her head up, "You can praise me now Master!" she said proud of herself, of course she knew her Master thought of Charybdis as a pain in the ass so she dealt with it before it could bother him! Galahad sighed and patted her head, "Good job.." he said lazily making her smile brightly while Milim pouted because it turned out that she wouldn't be getting any action at all!
Galahad narrowed his eyes and looked at the bowing Phobio apologizing to Rimuru about causing him trouble after which he ran over and bowed to Milim, "Forgive me Lady Milim!" he said kneeling down, his head hitting the dirt. "I'm not angry so I'll forgive you!" Milim announced folding her arms and smiling, it's not Charybdis actually did something and she got some time with her bestie too so it was fine!
