章 46: Summoning A Servant
Galahad looked at her surprised, if he remembered correctly then Galahad was the one who took the Original True Holy Grail to heaven but he shouldn't have it right? He tried to motion with his hands, "Is it like ....this? About....this big?" he asked Aquila curiously. She rubbed her chin in thought, "Yes, I think." she responded, what was so important about that chalice? Galahad layed back and gave a dry laugh, seriously how broken is this World's System?
It granted him the Original True Holy Grail as part of Galahad's equipment, but then again it gave him a Longinus too. The Longinus is a broken weapon because in the official source it's stated that, "The Unsealed Excalibur rivals the unsealed Rhongomyniad." and then for the Rhongonomyniad it's stated that, "The unsealed Rhongomyniad is said to rival the Holy Lance Longinus in terms of power." The thing is all three of those are Anti-World Noble Phantasms in the Nasuverse and since the Longinus is used as the official reference in this case, that says a lot about how strong it is. (A/N: For reference, the one that appears in the Fuyuki Grail War is just a prototype of the original one...now let that sink in.)
He concentrated on it and sure as hell, a golden chalice manifested in his hand. An omnipotent wish granting device, he yawned and gave a long sigh. Wasn't this too goddamn broken? With this he could wish for a world completely devoid of any kind of problems.....and so he chose to put it back, why? Because then it would be.... simply boring. He had already decided that stagnation was not his goal.
Though he would use it as a catalyst to summon servants later on, that would be fun and it would help too. He looked at the sleeping Shizue and smiled before picking up in his arms, Aquila smiled at him and dissipated back into his body. He looked at Rein, "Shall we return, Master?" she asked curiously recieving a nod in response she teleported back before him to get his dinner ready. Galahad teleported straight to Shizue's room and settled her down on the bad but she grabbed onto his sleeve, "Don't go." she muttered so he patted her head and removed her hand before walking off.
Galahad took a seat in the main dinner hall, a few minutes later Rein came in with his food and set it in front of him. He started eating while she took her position behind him, what that wasn't good enough? Well it was! Go fuck yourself. Galahad who was eating his meal questioned, "Hey Rein, what would you wish for if you had one wish that would absolutely be granted?" he asked her curiously, seriously a goddamn wish granting device was in his hands. Now, he had two trump cards the Longinus and the Grail.
Rein rubbed her chin in thought, "The privilege to beat up anyone I wa- *ehm* ignore that, I desire nothing more Master, if it was one thing it would be your- No I'm content as it is, Master." she said cutting mid-sentence several times in order to correct herself, she's so diligent she corrects herself! Suck on that! Galahad nodded, "Hmm...I can't think of anything either, I'd rather go to my family....after settling everything here..." since it would be crossing space time anyway, he could even arrive back at the same day he was killed and there would be no problems.
Rein nodded, "Do what you desire, Master." that was all she wanted and she would make sure no one got in the way of that. Galahad looked at her and continued eating, truly the loyalty of demons was something to be reckoned with, and he was proud of past him for deciding on getting it. Galahad was now looking forward to meeting with the Hero she should be arriving any time now.
"I'm looking...for more subordinates or rather....maids...got any recommendations?" he asked her, while two maids were good and all he'd rather have more. Rein looked crestfallen, "So we're not enough?" they tried their best! Ok Mizari tried her best! No she did too! Galahad waved his hands, "No...it's more like...I need more for....stuff." how would he explain this time? Actually why does he have to explain? What's wrong with getting more maids?!
Rein looked away and grinned, on second thought that was good! Now she could shove the work on others! She looked straight at him, "I understand." He looked at her a bit surprised, "You do? Okay....and your real thoughts." he was perfectly aware of what Rein was like, you'd have to be a new breed of dumbass to not be able to notice it. Rein looked to the side and whistled, Galahad narrowed his eyes.
This made her squirm in place before she slightly blushed, "I thought I'd shove my work on them." she said in a low voice making Galahad wipe a fake tear, "They grow up so fast." he said before laughing slightly and going back to eating, he was proud of her! She was embracing the lazy now. Rein rubbed her chin in thought, "I'd recommend Blanc and Jaune. Noir is an annoying fuck and Violet is a twisted and uncontrollable bitch, especially with all that acting she does." oh don't mistake it White and Yellow were annoying too, just they were the more tolerable ones.
Galahad nodded, indeed she was right. There was no way Noir would even submit in the first place, Galahad wasn't interested in advancement or expansion like Rimuru so he was off the list. Violet or Ultima was too sadistic and unpredictable, if she begins to like him for all he knows she'd even try to hurt him so a no to her too. (A/N: She actually wouldn't it's just him)
Rein slightly bowed, "Shall I drag them here, Master?" if he wanted it she would do it, end of discussion. Galahad leaned on the table and pushed his plate to the side since he had finished eating anyway, "Do you have confidence in that?" he had other ways of achieving this but this way works too. Rein nodded, if it was the her before then there was a chance of loss with the best outcome being a draw, but the power boost being name brought her would allow her to beat the shit out of them even three on one.
Galahad looking at her nodded, "Jaune is at Hell's Gate, drag her here. As for Blanc, she's- I'll deal with her." Blanc would be summoned in Silberia about 50 or 55 years from now along with a proper vessel so there was no need to hinder that, he'd make her submit after that. Of course, the Silberian princess would become a casualty but since when did Galahad care about those. He yawned and stood up as Rein bowed and teleported away with a grin, it's 'Beat the shit out of someone!' time!
Galahad then went to sleep as he had nothing more to do, in the morning he woke up and stretched his arms before yawning and rubbing his eyes. He stood up and walked out of his room, "Reeiiinnn!!" he shouted, he needed his maids! "Oh.... right." he yawned and walked towards the kitchen, he had sent her away last night.
Halfway there an explosion happened and he ran to the kitchen to find a blackened Shizue with more than half the kitchen in ruin. He scratched the back of his head, "What....happened here?" he asked curiously, what kind of disaster was this? She looked around guiltily before admitting it, "R-Rein wasn't here! So I tried to cook but..." her eyes trailed to the mess, Galahad followed her gaze and found the mess. He put together what happened, he wiped a fake tear and patted Shizue's head, he was extremely proud of her! Why? He can't cook for shit either!! Like he said, he isn't the best parent.
About half an hour later, Galahad was throwing stones on the ground with Shizue sitting in his lap. "So Shizue....what do you do when the opponent...goes for an overhead slash?" he asked her, damn he wanted to eat! "Dodge!" she immediately replied, so Galahad patted her head for a job well done, "Good job." All of a sudden Galahad had an idea, a very brilliant one! He would summon a servant to cook for him!
He took out the grail, why? So that he can use the wishing feature in correspondence with the chant to summon an actual person from the actual Throne of Heroes, he wasn't going to have no copies under him! As for why? So they could cook him a meal! Hopefully, Alaya wouldn't bust his ass for it, actually she couldn't bust his ass for it. Her powers were limited to Earth only and she couldn't influence separate realities, on top of that this World's System was sitting here too, like hell it would let a foreign entity take it over and to Galahad a system that can grant the True Grail, Origin Skills and skills capable of outerversal levels of destruction was a system to be reckoned with.
He place Shizue to the side and yawned before standing up. She curiously looked at him wondering about the golden chalice in his hand, she was naturally curious about it. Galahad materialized some materials and drew a summoning circle while this should be impossible in the Tensuraverse he had the Grail in his hands so it was possible but that would prove that the Root is connected to all places in some form or the other. Shizue asked, "What are you doing?" in confusion. Galahad responded while drawing the circle, "Solving our food problem."
And in order to ensure he didn't summon a servant like Mephistopheles he materialized the Around Round Shield and yelled, "Noble Phantasm: Partial Deployment!" beofre gripping his heart, the cringe was too much, he wondered how the other reincarnators could deal with it and yell attack names like they actually looked good doing them.
A small blue area was formed, the concept of a place where truly heroic spirits gather as such removing the chance of an evil servant. Shizue giggled at his antics and wondered what he was doing. Galahad raised the Grail and chanted in a low voice, "Your self is unde- fuck it, this is too cringe....If anyone wants to answer my call, they can come out." he muttered and yawned as the Grail glowed, why summon a servant for food? Well the food he made using Twilight magic tasted bland so there was no other way! Yes he definitely didn't do it because he wanted a servant!
The area in front of them glowed, seeing that it worked Galahad reabsorbed the Grail as a bunch of Command Seals manifested on his hand, why this happened? Well it was becasue the Grail belonged to him and so he could utilize it's systems too. But once he saw the servant that was summoned he groaned and sat down. Just great!
She flamboyantly spun around and stabbed her strange red sword into the ground, her gaze fell on the large castle, "Servant Saber- So You've prepared a castle for my arrival! ! That is good! Indeed! Umu! Umu! I am very pleased, Master!" her gaze fell on her body and all the strange memories she had, "...What is this body?" she asked herself before pointing at Galahad, "Umu, You explain!" she announced but then she realized that he seemed familiar. "Galahad?" she said curiously before putting her hand on her head and shaking it, "What are you doing here? Tell me!" she said loudly going near him, and started shaking him, much to the lazy man's dismay. "So you didn't even...look at me first?" he asked her while being shaken causing her to freeze, she looked to the side, "Umm,umm I was observing your glorious preparation! Umu! That's it! I speak no lies."
Galahad slowly nodded his head, "Uh-huh." he totally believed that, summoning her was problematic, "What's that gaze? You doubted me just now right? But that aside...how are you my Master?" she asked with a scrutinizing gaze making Galahad click his tongue and look away. "Hey! Don't look away from me!"
