章 16: A Hero?
Galahad nodded to his spirit who had finished healing him and stood up while dusting his clothes. He looked over to Ramiris who seemed to be looking at the ongoing fight. He walked over to her and tapped her head bringing her attention to him and sat down again. She waved her arms, "Hey! What are you doing?" she was a bit amazed by his combat prowess. He glanced at her and yawned, "Well I thought I'd sit down with you....since I'm here anyway." Ramiris turned towards him to nod but noticed something wrong and shouted, "Then why are you facing the other way?!" while flying around him. That's right Galahad was literally facing the other way he laughed, "That was a joke...a joke ok." She shook her head, "No that wasn't funny." and kept her gaze locked on him. He faced towards the fight and said, "Oh...." before sitting down a bit depressed, he was really going for that one.
She patted his shoulder, "Well it's fine! Maybe you can make a better one!" and tried to cheer him up, but pouted when she found him already over it and staring at the fight while swaying to the sides, he simply fell over and watched on while lying on his side, "Popcorn..." he muttered. She curiously tilted her head to the side, "Popocorn?" this was a new term for her so naturally she was curious. Galahad glanced at her, "It's a... food." Her eyes started shining and she came near him, "Is it delicious?! Where do I get it?" she asked flying around. "You can't." he answered simply, he couldn't make it either so it was impossible to get it.
Her wings drooped down and she started floating down before she immediately got straight, "Is that it? It's delicious so you don't want to give it to me?!" after all that could be the only logical conclusion, in her mind. Galahad stared at her dumbfounded, "How do you...even reach that conclusion?" this was quite entertaining for him. She scratched the back of her head, "Ehehehehe! When you're as great as me you can do it!" she said pumping her fist up. Galahad just sighed, "So you legit think that is what happened?". Noticing his doubtful gaze, she looked up in thought and asked, "It isn't that?" only for Galahad to shake his head in denial, she slowly nodded at him.
After that they started bickering with each other ignoring that the fight had already ended at some point and Milim had already calmed down, after all her evolution to a True Demon Lord had already occurred and she had been fighting unconsciously and knocking her down actually brought her back to her senses, while Milim may be OP she was nowhere near her canon self and the might of three Primordials combined was nothing to be scoffed at even in the story. Galahad sighed in defeat there was no winning against her, "Yes, you're great, amazing... can we please stop now?" She smirked and puffed her chest up, "Hahahaha! You can't beat me!"
Galahad noticed someone behind him and immediately grabbed her before jumping away. Staring back he looked at a pink haired girl staring at him curiously. "Milim...." Galahad muttered under his breath as he let Ramiris who was shouting at him go. "Hey what do you think you're doing!?" Ramiris shouted bonking his head. He scratched the back of his head, "Sorry." causing her to smile victoriously, this guy was strong but he knew she was stronger than him! but for Galahad it was simply too much of a pain to argue with her.
Milim tilted her to the side in confusion, "Who are you?" after all for her she had been unconscious for a long time and when she came to she was surrounded by two women and a guy, she noticed two people laughing and talking to each other so she came over to check out. "Galahad" he answered, he gained nothing from hiding his existence rather if people knew about him and his power they wouldn't bother him, probably. She nodded, "I'm Milim Nava!" she said pointing at herself. Vert and Bleu appeared next to him and bowed, "We have done as you commanded, Master." Vert said while Bleu remained silent, although both of them were expecting something.
Galahad nodded his head and smiled, "Good job." after all that was a load off his back, if they weren't here he would have to likely deal with her as well. Both of them smiled brightly and nodded at his praise of course they were happy leaving him to stare at them for a bit. Guy laughed out loud, "Didn't expect you two to be happy with something like that!" after all they were prideful creatures this was totally opposite from their usual selves.
"Tch, he's here." Bleu scowled and looked away. "Hey you just clicked your tongue right now!" Guy shouted at her. She glared at him, "Yes I did." He pouted and looked away, Galahad pitched in, "Seeing a man do that is traumatizing." after all who wants to see a guy pout. Guy looked at him amused, "Well well well looks like you've been moving up eh?" last time he met Galahad he had been thrown in to the middle of a desert. Galahad scratched the back of his head, which was a habit of his, "Yeah I guess." Ramiris flew in to the middle of them, "Oh so you two know each other?" she excitedly asked them. Galahad looked away annoyed because Guy started laughing and patting his back, "Last time he was thrown between my fight with Velzard, hahahaha!"
Milim seeing them talking to each other like that of course wanted to join in and jumped straight in, "So what was happening earlier?" she asked them curiously and Ramiris started narrating the events and of course exaggerated her contribution to the fight, Milim looked at her intently, "Then can we fight again?!" after all she just got told Ramiris could beat her in a few punches, while Guy and Galahad looked on silently laughing at her. Ramiris sweat dropped and nervously laughed before flying behind Galahad, "You have to beat him first!" Galahad yawned, "Yeah I don't want any part in this." and picked her up before handing her over to Milim, "You traitor!"
The conversation continued until it reached the part where he killed Gaia, Milim's pet. Galahad quickly put his shield in front as he got sent flying back from the impact of Milim's punch. He shouted at her, "It was already dead!" he couldn't afford to make an enemy of Milim, that would be too much of a hindrance and Milim wouldn't even give up till she got rid of him so that was not preferable, besides who wants that bundle of joy as an enemy. Vert and Bleu immediately sprang into action coming to his side with magic circles appearing around them, they would fight to the death if they had to.
Ramiris looked between the two quickly, they were talking so good a few moments ago what was this?! She quickly went over to Milim, "Hey Milim! it was already dead!" she frantically waved her hands about before flying over to Galahad and saying, "Stop!" He stared at her and was sent flying back by another kick, he crashed into the ground but luckily his shield protected him from most of the damage, that girl was completely out of his league. "How do I stop? ...I'm just defending." Vert and Bleu launched their respective magics only for the two to simply get punched away, fighting a berserker and a person who uses their brain presents different sets of difficulties.
Milim was about to launch at him again but was grabbed by Guy, "Okay that's enough." She glared at him and stopped because Guy was holding her in place. "He's right you know? It would've been a mindless murdering beast. He put it out of it's misery." he told her the truth, Guy who had seen Galahad's prowess as well knew that if the two actually fought the damage would spread even more than it already had, and he needed humanity alive. Milim calmed down and thought about it closely, she wasn't dumb just that she liked to be childish and being whimsical was part of her nature. After several minutes of thinking and Galahad being on constant guard because he wasn't keen on getting a punch that could flatten a mountain.
Milim nodded to herself, she now understood that she shouldn't have attacked and it's better to be put out then roam around as an undead but that didn't mean it wouldn't leave a sour taste in her mouth. She meekly walked over to her and said, "I'm sorry." He chuckled and patted her head, "No problem." after all he would prefer to maintain friendly relationships, before quickly realizing his fault and pulling his hand back. She however ignored that and smiled brightly before extending her hand, "Friends?" Galahad again smiled at this childish act and shook her hand before releasing a long relieved sigh and sitting down as the shield dissipated.
Guy smiled at their interaction and looked around, "Wait where's Ramiris?" Galahad ran his gaze around and came across an unconscious Ramiris, noticing what was happening he nodded to himself it was time to go, he wasn't a demon lord so he couldn't join them right now besides it provided no real advantage for now. Milim stared at him and sprang up behind him, "You're leaving?" and received a nod in response it disheartened her a bit after all he had just become her friend. He was going to return to that Kingdom now, Guy folded his arms and asked with a smirk, "So you don't want to be introduced to the world as a Demon Lord?" Galahad lazily stared at him, "I'm not one anyway, just announce me an intervening Hero or something." that way he could progress the hatching of the seed by becoming a society proclaimed hero, which were individuals humanity recognized as heroes but weren't True Heroes.
Guy curiously gazed at him, "Oya? What about those people you knowingly left to die?" he had seen how cold the bastard could be, after all if he used the walls again he could've protected a lot of civilians from the miasma but he let them all die, he shrugged not like he was much different himself. Galahad looked to side and dryly laughed, "No comment." and started walking away while swaying about, with Vert and Bleu following behind him obediently. Bleu came near him and said with a slight blush, "I-I would like to try that thing from earlier, with the girl." Galahad stared at his eyes widened a bit, "The head pat?" what the hell was going on? He looked at Vert and found her nodding vigorously as well.
