"So, uh...that happened," I muttered in bemusement, a couple of hours later. 

"Mhm, it sure did...and I regret nothing. Wanna do it again sometime?" Responded Prysm with a seductive smirk. 

"Hm...well, we've done it once, so I guess the ship has sailed. Plus it felt pretty good, so there's that too. But let's be clear here...I have no interest in getting into a relationship with anyone, I've never really understood romance. So-..."

"Yeah, yeah, I already knew all that. I'm fine with this...after all, now there's another reason for you to keep me around," She replied with a wry smile. 

"Hmph...it's not like I'd abandon you at this point," I muttered as I averted my gaze. 

"What was that? I didn't quite hear you," She responded curiously. 

"It was nothing. Anyway, you better get going, I prefer to sleep alone. And this bed is too small for two people, anyway," I remarked as I gave her a light push on the back.
