Landow was a small kingdom and was not well-known around the lands, but as time went by, it regarded itself as a completely independent kingdom, and Cornell had supported the kingdom all through the years taking it to where it was today. Hence, even the king of the kingdom had no say in Cornell's underground businesses in Landow.

Cornell had built a huge name for himself in Landow, earning the trust of everyone. But no one dared to cross him despite his underground businesses as he could bring the kingdom down to it's former state or even complete ruin with his connections. He owned two large underground dungeons, and also, all his slayers resided in the kingdom.
