You entered the living room of your place with drinks in hand and heard some bubbling laughter looking around you, you noticed Nakia was laughing at something Okoye had said. Nakia noticed T'Challa moving away from another of your guests to take his drink from your hand. She smiled winningly at him. You moved around the pair to hand Shuri and Okoye their drinks before opening your own.
"Ten bucks says he trips over something." Shuri started the betting as always. "Ten says he knocks the punch bowl to the floor." Okoye added. "Nah, he'll spill his red wine all over her white dress."
"Ten says he'll do all of what you have described." You all flinched, turning around to come face to face with the Queen Mother who was incidentally T'Challa's mother. You all stuttered with the customary greeting, Shuri also let out her usual light, childlike laugh. "Well am I in on this bet or not?" You nodded handing her, her the drink that was sitting beside you.
You all turned around to face the blushing king. Shuri sighed when he failed to brush Nakia's arm while reaching around her for some of the nibbles you had placed on a nearby table and instead knocked a plate of food over. "This is a whole new level of moronic flirting, even for him." Shuri told you all, her mother gave her a stern look, but was quelled when you pointed out that she had made a bet on the subject at hand.
T'Challa continued to flirt or at least attempt to flirt with Nakia while you all kept a eye on what was going on. You dropped your head onto Okoye's shoulder, "He can't flirt." She chuckled. "If I lose this bet, I'm asking if hell has an exchange program. Who knows it may be better than watching him moon over her." Okoye gave grin, Shuri walked up to the pair of you, "If history repeats itself with those two, I don't know what I'll do." You sighed lightly. "If history repeats itself, I am so getting a dinosaur." Shuri gave you an excited look an idea running through her mind, you clicked to her idea and turned to face her. "NO." You both turned to the wrath of the Queen Mother, "Do not even think about it." You both pouted, "Aw, come on." Okoye let out a noise of surprise, all of you turned to face her and following her line of sight caught sight of T'Challa and Nakia.
You all caught sight of T'Challa tripping over a footstool that someone had moved, Shuri grinned. But the legendary Black Panther was unable to regain his footing and ended up putting his hand out to grab the table nearby. Unfortunately for him, he missed the steady top of the table and had instead grasped the white tablecloth. The tablecloth followed his movements and the punch bowl slipped along the smooth cloth laid out on the flat wood, the bowl jumped as it hit his hand and emptied its contents on the floor, and T'Challa himself. The event of T'Challa tripping made him lose his grip on his wine glass, which flipped through the air. The red liquid gracefully twisted in the air, before landing on Nakia's white dress, the staining remaining reminded your small group of a Jackson Pollock painting.
Once the show, had ended there was a resounding silence. Shuri burst into fits of bubbling laughter. Okoye's usual stern look was replaced with the general shaking with repressed laughter which on occasion tumbled between her lips. You tried to stifle your own guffawing laughter, your form shook. There was an imperial sounding intake of breath, you all turned away from Nakia trying and failing to supress her own laughter, while helping T'Challa. You all turned to face Ramonda, who had a grin filled with mirth. "Are you going to pay me now or later?"
