The synopsis grab my attention a lot. After I started reading it, it good at first but with the misunderstanding between the ML and FL made me want to slap them. Chp. 72 so far. Spoiler* So the FL I guess had an accident and has memory loss. She doesn’t remember the ML (child sweetheart apperantly) she thinks she’s an orphan. Later marry into the family of the ML as a “substitute” for the ML lover, who she look alike. Apperantly, she died that’s all I know so far. FL been marry to ML for three years. Both had friends with benefits relationship (stranger). But she got to the point where she felt like she had enough of been a “substitute” lover, even if ML treated her pretty good. (Doesn’t lack nothing except his love) so she wants a divorce. Which is where th MIL comes in offering 400 million and appearing in a MIL&DIL show, where she would embarrassed DIL. Turns out she starts liking her…that’s all. To sum up, it’s great but the miscommunication between ML&FL is a little irritating. But the MIL&DIL is pretty great and looong forward to more.

i'm not sure if i have reviewed this one yet, but i reaaally want to recommend this book. I have read it with MTL tho, but i still understand most of the plots. it has unexpected plot twist, and i love it! we have mature ML and FL which sometimes really hard to get in webnovel. its worth your time if you want to read this novel. just make sure so people wont misunderstand the ML. ML only loves FL. no substitute or whoever. shes the only one, whether its in the past, now or in the future.

Good story, but frustrating miscommunications that could be easily resolved. Also the book starts off with good plot movement but stalls out once the chapters become locked. From there on the story drags on without lots of movement with the characters.
Full of surprises and plot twists. Currently my favourite novel. Kudos to the author!
I read ahead with the MTL version. The story reminds me of "perfect secret love: the bad new wife is a little sweet" but not as funny. FL is the ML's first love and a traumatic event occurred 4 years ago and she has no memory of the past. ML gives her a new identity and marries her. They also have twins that the ML is not aware of. FL had kept her pregnancy a secret from him.

Stopped at ch 34 - - - - I actually have no idea why this trash is rated so highly. The ML is your typical domineering CEO trash who changes for the better after sexually assaulting her, controlling her entire life, literally slept with a girl while in front of her, and people still have the gall to say "he changes later". In addition, the MC takes everything at face value and doesn't try to change things for herself. She doesn't even bother fighting aginst these losers. Honestly, Han Qianye carried this book and I wouldn't have given it a score of 2 had she not been there.

absolutely refreshing this batch of books were so much better this time rather than all those clichés which i am absolutely not interested I can't wait to read the rest of it

In all novels MIL's never change but in this novel MIL is changing, this is something new. Liked the description, would love to read this novel

finished reading raws. can say this is quite a fast paced story? ml and fl story stopped at around ch600? After that was qiaoqiao's story which was so sad and then ch700 onwards was pei jiao's story. overall I wished the ending was longer and had more explanation but its a not bad read.
