Rune was surprised to hear the girl speak up. Did this have something to do with her clan's ability that she had mentioned earlier?

"Remember when I said that the Pinkarish Clan has not had many opportunities to use their abilities to contribute to the advancement of the country? Well, that ability is called Synergy."

Synergy...Rune had a feeling he knew where she was going with this.

"To put it simply," Nene continued, "we have the power to help people empathize with one another. You can experience what they have experienced and even share your senses for a time."

"I see..."

Most would have thought the ability to be somewhat useless, but Rune thought otherwise. It was a power that was very much geared for war.
