The next morning, Rune woke up sandwiched between Luna and Fleur. The cold bit of the morning air rolled down his spine as he quietly stepped out of bed. Making sure not to disturb his sleeping companions, Rune pulled the covers back over their naked bodies so as not to disturb them before slipping on a robe and a pair of sandals. He was eager to stop by the guild today and had gotten up earlier than usual, as evidenced by the dulled morning light peaking over the horizon from the first rays of the hidden sun.

Outside the bedroom, Gabi stepped out of her room nearly simultaneously as if sensing that her master had awoken. Her maid uniform was neat and tidy, with hair already tied up in the usual fashion.
