As Rune was being teleported out of the arena, Irene suddenly stood up from her seat in shock. She was stunned by the brief display of his powers. It was only a small portion that was released due to Rune being close to awakening, but that amount showcased the potential lying inside of him.

"Is something wrong, My Lady?" an attendant asked.

"No... Not at all. I must have gotten caught up in the excitement. I'm not used to such things, having spent so much time in the palace, as you know..."

The attendant's expression narrowed in hostility as Iren sat back down and crossed her slender legs before smoothing out into one of indifference.

Tch...I almost screwed up there. It would be a real problem if they found out my true goals...
