When Rune woke up, he was greeted not with sympathy but with a lecture from the girls for falling into his old habits. So what if they were up against impossible odds? They would push through together as they always had. Or that was the idea, at least.
Rune did not seem on the same page as everyone else, so they thoroughly drilled it into his skull.
"Don't do everything by yourself!"
"Rely on us!" they chided. He understood that his way of thinking had been wrong.
Rune was not surprised that Carin had dropped him as her pupil. He probably looked like nothing more than a scared child in her eyes. His shameful behavior and mindset was not the one she had spent so much time nurturing. In fact, he was surprised she let him go on as long as he did instead of beating him just for the pitiful expression he surely had on.
'I'm not quite there yet...' He thought.
Regarding Rune's Mind Activation training... I'm not really sure how long it will end up lasting. I'd like to move on toward the tournament arc, as I'm not too sure if people enjoy training arcs. So I figured I would just use this AN to ask. Would you prefer I do the mini-training arc how I normally would? (It may take a single chapter, or it may last multiple chapters) Or would you prefer to have a time skip with a summary of what happened during the time leading up to the tournament? (This would guarantee that it would be contained in a single chapter.) Be sure to comment and let me know.
Also, thank you for the Power Stones! We have been getting more collections since everyone has been so generous.
