章 55: A New Conflict

"Rune! Wake up, please!"

Raya did all she could to get him to open his eyes, but nothing was working. She had ripped off part of her skirt and was using it to try and stop his blood loss, but there were too many injuries for her to manage alone. She could tell that she was losing him, and when she put her ear to his chest and noticed that his heart rate began to slow, her blood ran cold.

"Fleur, I need you right now. Rune is dying. We don't have much time!"

Fleur had her hands full with her own problems. The sword that Luna was stabbed with damaged her internal organs and grazed her spine. She was doing all she could just to keep her alive.

"Bring him over here." She asked

Raya did as Fleur asked and placed Rune's body down beside Luna's. Once that was done, Fleur spread out her hands and tried to heal them both simultaneously. The glow of her spells pulsed out as she tried over and over again to heal their injuries.

"Why isn't it working?!"
