"Don't look at me…" Louisanna muffled when she raised her head and glanced at Domhall, only to see him staring back at her. 

His stare was sincere and gentle. Worry was evident in his expression, and because of that, Louisanna's heart skipped a bit.

Louisanna could remember it all. How she let her anger consume her body, and how she wanted to kill William using both hands. She bent her head to look at the blood covering her chest. 

A sob escaped her mouth when she noticed how disgusting she was. The ripped dress made her remember what William could have done to her if she couldn't fight back for herself then. 

More tears continued streaming down her face as she realized she was more than a monster.

She almost became a killer, a murderer— Gladly, Domhall was able to stop her. Never in her life had she thought she could do something like this.
