章 25: Chapter 25-Gabriel's family event
The beautiful girl sitting next to Gabriel kept looking at the road that was already crowded with other vehicles, She forgot that her lover had been watching her all the time.
"Honey, why don't you listen to what I'm saying? What do you see on the street?" Gabriel asked as he touched the hand of the beautiful woman beside him.
Suddenly Naya was surprised and looked at the handsome man beside her
"Honey, you just surprised me, I'm not listening to what you're saying, honey, I heard it," she added, casting a beautiful gaze on his lover.
It wasn't long before Gabriel's four-wheeler entered a housing estate, and the owner drove the vehicle leisurely.
"Are we there yet?" asked the beautiful woman
"Yes, we will soon arrive, in front of the other alley. We will turn and the second house there is my eldest brother's house." He added, pointing towards the highway.
The beautiful girl just flashed her sweet smile and nodded her head.
Not long after they arrived at the gate of a house that was not too luxurious when Gabriel was about to park his car in the yard, it turned out that his yard was already full of his friends' cars, so he parked his favorite car on the side of the road.
Gabriel and Naya immediately took off their safety belts and immediately went downstairs to enter Gabriel's sister's house.
When they entered the two of them saw that there were already many guests present, Gabriel was about to meet his grandmother but he did not see the old woman.
As they were walking suddenly someone came up to them.
"Biel, who is this? Your future wife?" asked someone who approached them.
"Yeah, she's my future wife, how beautiful isn't she?" he said smiling at a woman his age, the woman is Gabriel's cousin who lives not far from his grandmother's house.
"Yes, you must be looking for grandma, right? She's upstairs, chatting with her mother, let's take!" She added.
"No need, I'll just wait here with Naya, oh yeah, I haven't introduced you to my future wife yet," he added, glancing at his lover.
He also introduced women of his age who were in front of them to his lover
"Honey, this is my cousin, her name is Ika, she is the child of my uncle (my mother's brother)," he added, pointing at his cousin.
Naya also held out her hand to shake hands with her boyfriend's cousin.
"My name is Ika, Gabriel and I are still close cousins, my father and Gabriel's mother are brothers," Ika began to introduce herself to Naya.
Likewise, with Naya, she introduced himself to Ika.
"I'm Naya," she added, smiling at the beautiful girl in blue in front of him.
After they introduced themselves to each other, Ika invited Naya to be introduced to Gabriel's other brothers.
"Come on, come with me, I will introduce you to the others because Gabriel has many families!" Ika asked
Naya looked at Gabriel, and Gabriel nodded his head, a sign that he allowed Naya to come with his cousin.
The beautiful white girl immediately followed Ika, Gabriel's cousin, but in the middle of the trip her smartphone vibrated, Naya immediately saw it, it turned out that there was an incoming call on her cellphone, her smartphone didn't use a ringtone because she didn't want Gabriel to feel uncomfortable when she heard her cellphone constantly ringing.
Naya asked Ika's permission to receive calls on her cell phone.
"Sorry Ka, I want to take a call for a moment," she added
"Yes, please," she replied.
Naya walked a little away from Gabriel's cousin because the one calling her was Rama, she didn't want Ika to hear her conversation with Rama.
The woman in the gray hijab immediately shifted the green button on her cellphone and answered Rama's call.
"Hello, sir? Sorry, I just received a call from you!" She said
"Yes, honey, where are you now, why is the sound so loud?" asked Rama
"I'm at the event, my friend is in the Tangerang area, sir, so the sound is a little noisy. I also want to ask permission, sir, to take a few days off work," she added.
"Honey, why did you say it earlier, Mr? It's okay about work permits, you may not come in, but why do you always call me Mr. I'm your boyfriend?" he asked again.
"That's sir because there are a lot of people here, I'm shy with my brothers and sisters, when they make out on the phone," the beautiful girl replied with a little nervous tone.
"Why do you have to be ashamed, dear, I want our relationship to be known to all of your family, oh yes, may I follow you, you just share the look, I'll catch up later to pick you up, honey," he said
Hearing that Naya became silent, she was afraid that Rama would be desperate to meet her, she immediately looked for an excuse to end the call.
"Sir, sorry my cell phone battery is running low, so we'll continue later, sir, chat, assalamu'alaikum." Naya immediately hung up the phone unilaterally.
When the beautiful girl turned around, how shocked she was, she saw Gabriel was behind her, her eyes were perfectly round looking at her lover. She was really scared, afraid that Gabriel would hear all the conversations she had with Rama.
"Honey, I've been looking for you everywhere, apparently you're here, earlier Ika told me she said you were receiving a phone call, who's calling?" he asked as he approached the beautiful girl.
"That's Mr. Rama, my boss." She answered with a slight bow of his head.
The tall man immediately lifted his lover's face.
"Why are you looking down, honey?" he added
"Let's meet my brother and sister-in-law after we go back to Grandma's house, we don't need to finish attending the event!" he asked
The beautiful woman just nodded and walked after her lover, the tall man took his lover's hand and introduced him to each of his extended family.
As they were walking, suddenly someone called his name.
"Gabriel, Gabriel, "someone called his name
He immediately turned to the source of the voice, it turned out to be Maya calling, Gabriel stopped his steps and waited for Maya to approach him after Maya was close s.he asked his sister.
"Biel, where are you going? Want to find brother?" She asked
"Yes, where is he?" he answered
"He's upstairs, on the second floor, let's take him," said Maya.
"Come on, Nay, I take you to meet your sister-in-law and brother!" She asked Naya.
"Yes, sis."
The three of them followed Maya to the second floor of the house, after arriving on the second floor they met the person they were looking for.
"That one wearing a maroon kebaya is my sister-in-law, and the one wearing a maroon shirt is my eldest brother," Gabriel whispered to Naya
The two of them approached the married couple and Gabriel introduced Naya to his brother and sister-in-law.
"Nay, this is my eldest brother and this is his wife," Gabriel said to Naya while pointing at the married couple in front of them.
The girl in the gray dress immediately extended her hand to shake hands with the husband and wife.
"Sit down, Nay," said Gabriel's brother-in-law.
"Have you eaten yet?" continued his brother Gabriel.
"Well, we came here to say goodbye, Brother, because we have important business, so we can't stay long," said Gabriel.
"Why are you in a hurry, it's still noon," he added.
"Yes, why are you in such a hurry, where are you going, Biel?" Maya asked.
"I have urgent business, so I can't stay long," he added.
