章 55: Special Event and Ruby Ring

Andy took a deep breath as he thought about Elizabeth, while elsewhere Elizabeth was trying to forget Andy.

Jeff took Elizabeth's hand together and walked into the restaurant. When they were inside, Elizabeth was surprised by a rousing welcome from some of Jeff's co-workers, of course Jeff had asked his superiors for permission beforehand to hold a special event at the restaurant.

Jeff's friends clapped and smiled happily at Jeff and Elizabeth, the room was filled with colorful balloons, pink ribbons, a bouquet of red roses placed on the table, and appetizers.

Elizabeth was not only shocked but felt uncomfortable by all of it, so she stopped in her tracks then she looked at Jeff and made a sour face.

"Jeff what are they doing to us?? Why are they standing there in a line smiling like that?" asked Elizabeth with a snort of annoyance.
