Kyung-Soo wrapped his arm around her waist and pulled her closer to hug her again. He sighed and closed his eyes. This was his favourite place to share with Nivritti. They have kissed in the stairway so many times. They had so many meaningful conversations there. Stairways were slowly becoming his safe haven.

"We should go, NK!" said Nivritti but she too was not ready to let Kyung-Soo go.

"I know. Gosh, I wish we could just sta…" said Kyung-Soo. Before he could complete his sentence, Nivritti placed her palm over his mouth and shushed him. He raised his eyebrows and with his eyes asked her what happened, why was she shushing him?

She pointed at the top of the stairs and pulled him closer to the corner. And then Kyung-Soo heard a familiar sound.

"What… do you think you are doing?"

"PJ?" whispered Kyung-Soo. Nivritti simply nodded her head, her eyes widened with shock. What was Jeong-Eun doing out of the party and who was he talking to?
