章 340: The Conscious- Subconscious Mind

Tapping her foot on the ground, Nivritti was eagerly waiting for the lift to arrive. With a loud ding, the lift arrived. She looked up and saw the empty insides of the lift. She tilted her head and thought for a second.

Was she really about to get on the lift? Was she really waiting for the lift to arrive? Why was she getting the feeling that she left the stove turned on before coming to the office? Wait! Was she just arriving or was she about to leave the office?

She turned her head to look in either direction. There was no one. She was standing alone. The only light she could see was coming from right in front of her, from inside the lift. Should she get on? What was she waiting for, she couldn't put her finger on that.

She decided to get on. The moment she moved ahead the lift door closed. After groaning, she pressed the lift button praying that it would open. Someone somewhere heard her prayer. The lift's door opened.
