"No....Shen Mian had already left the drama....." Li An desperately tried to defend herself but it was useless. It was already bad enough that she had subtly accused Li Ran of making use of the back door to get a role. Even if she was able to worm her way out if it by arguing that she isn't the one who said it but Lu Beichen, it's still a fact that he did it because of her. She'd never be able to get out of that easily. 

Now that she got the role that was supposed to go to Shen Mian....

 "No. My dad has invested in the drama. He told me that the director was very satisfied with Shen Mian. Why will she quit out of nowhere? She'd be stupid to give up such a good chance" the person who brought up Shen Mian said again. 

Li An stood there as she bowed her head. She really did not know what to say. It's a fact that the role already belonged to Shen Mian before this.
