章 72: Throwing The Blame On Lu Beichen

Li An did not need to think twice about it before she threw Lu Beichen under the bus. Li Ran absolutely must not know that she is keeping an eye on her. If she falls out with Li Ran now, she won't even have a place in the Li family. She definitely couldn't afford the consequences. She decided at once to make Lu Beichen the scapegoat. 

"Lu Beichen told you? Li An I didn't know that you were so close to Lu Beichen!" Li Ran said with a gasp. There was evident shock in her eyes. 

Li An realized that Li Ran was getting better and better than acting. She didn't know that she and Lu Beichen were close?! What a joke! 

"No...we are not close at all! I just....we met a few times when the both of you were together and he talked to me. I didn't want to seem rude so I exchanged a few words with him. He told me....some things about you and Brother Sichen" Li An said.
