章 554: A giant carcass

"This seems a bit complicated," Zhai Tianyu said to Liu Hui Ying, the two of them were returning to the Su manor after discussing what happened to Lin Yanjue, Lin Si's daughter and Lin Jinxiao's mother. 

Liu Hui Ying didn't reply. She was lost in thought as she couldn't understand why the Su family would want to kill a small villager. Indeed Lin Yanjue tried to bite more than she could chew but Lin Jinxiao told her that his mother returned home and decided to stay with him without holding onto her grudges anymore.

However, Lin Si told her that his daughter was a woman of great determination, she wouldn't have stopped for no reason. The only explanation for her to suddenly return without dealing with the Su family, it could only mean one thing and that was she found out something that she shouldn't have which endangered her life and attracted the attention of the Su family.
