No. 9 on Second Street, Pompey Manor.

The early morning sunlight was full of vitality, seemingly illuminating the entire world and brimming with energy.

The great gate of the manor emitted a long creaking sound as it was pulled open from the inside.

Four or five maids worked together to swing the gate wide open and secure it, while an elderly man resembling a butler stepped out.

He raised his hand, clad in a white glove, to adjust his deep blue cravat at his chest, then waved to the maids.

"Professor Ulysses will be here shortly, don't disgrace the Viscount," he said.

"Yes, Mr. Binose," they replied.

The old butler stood erect, hands crossed in front of him, standing by the gate, quietly awaiting the arrival of the distinguished guest.
