章 173: Chapter 173: Turning Point

Before Saboru and Akuma talked to each other, Saboru pointed at a fighting game cabinet and nodded at Akuma. Even though Akuma was dumbfounded by the sudden flow of events, he just shrugged his shoulders and sat down in front of the game cabinet Saboru pointed at. As he watched Akuma seat down, Saboru smirked to himself.

"Are we going to play or what, Senpai?"

Akuma looked back behind him toward Saboru.

"I didn't know you were so eager to play. That's good."

Saboru pulled out the other chair beside Akuma and quickly sat down. He then inserted coins into the machine and pressed start.

The two of them chose characters they would use. As the game started, Akuma haphazardly pressed the buttons. In a just a few short moments, he was defeated.

"Huh… Well, that was easy. I thought you played this game?"

Saboru stared at Akuma beside him.

"Who said anything about that? You wanted to play so I just went along with it. I do play other games, just not this fighting game stuff."
