章 45: ~Experiencing A Different Life~

~Four Days Later~

'Lulu, are you sure he is alright? It's been four days now, and he is not back,' sister Sarai said and removed a pot from on the gas. 'Trust me sister Sarai, he'll be back,' Luna said and served from the pot on prepared plates. 'I hope you are right,' sister Sarai said and helped her. 'I am,' Luna said, and picked up four plates. She walked out of the kitchen into the huge dining and yelled, 'who is hungry?'.

'Me,'.

'I want to eat,'

'I want some,'

'Me too,'

'Can I have some?,'.

'When you mentioned a feast, I didn't know you meant a four days long one,' sister Magdalene said from where she sat. She watched the kids happily chatted with one another as the food came. The older ones went to the kitchen to help carry the plates. 'How long do you plan on going on?' she asked. 'Until Huno gets back,' Luna replied. Hearing this, all the kids looked at one another before yelling, 'aunty Luna is the best,'. The sisters felt a headache, but they could just laugh wryly. It wasn't the kids' fault. They've had nothing like this before. Who would want to miss such an opportunity? I don't think anyone will. At Luna's continuous pleas none of the kids went to school, everyone stayed the two days after the weekend and ate their full severally. The food was too much, some sister carried them to their families. The driver would come and go, getting ingredients and foodstuffs for Luna.

These past four days were definitely a blessed one for the kids. Luna found out what the meaning of sister meant and also found out not all the sisters here where actual sisters. In fact, they were only four out of the ten. The sister got stuck to their names when the first set of younger kids in the orphanage called them that because they couldn't call their names. Over time, it continued until everyone of them got used to it and didn't bother to correct.

'Alright Lulu, it should be enough now, come on,' sister Sarai said. Luna pouted a little and said, 'okay,'. 'She agreed, she finally agreed,' sister Sarai said and sat down, tired. The sisters in the room laughed as Luna walked over and gave a message to her. This is great, your hands are quite good,' Sister Sarai said.

'I'm happy you like it,' Luna said. 'I'll give you all a massage,' she added. 'It's alright you don't have to, you need to rest too you've been working,' sister Magdalene said. 'Okay senior,' Luna said. 'If they don't want, you can give me you know I'll love that,' Huno's voice sounded in the dining room. 'Huno!' the kids yelled and surrounded him. 'Oh you are back, welcome back,' Luna said. 'Thanks, it seems I missed a lot,' Huno said. 'Yeah, Lulu kept cooking, and you weren't around to taste the lovely dishes. Where have you been?' sister Magdalene asked. 'At the rose garden,' Huno replied. 'You slept there? Weren't you cold?' sister Sarai asked worriedly. 'I wasn't (turned to the kids). Do you guys want to see a magic trick?' Huno asked. 'Yes, yes,' some replied while some nodded or jumped happily. 'Okay everyone, look at the plate on the table,' Huno said and pointed to an empty plate. 'Count to three with me and shout, Huno, okay?' he added. 'Okay,' the kids replied. 'Let's go, one, two, three Huno!!!!,' Huno and the kids counted and yelled. Immediately the plate disappeared and everyone of them was stunned at first. Soon they laughed, and some jumped, 'again and again,'. 'Okay, look at that one over there,' Huno said and pointed to another plate. Immediately it disappeared, and the kids yelled 'again,'. 'Okay, what about the chair?' Huno asked and held a dining chair. 'Can you see it?'. 'Yes yes we can see it,' some kids replied. 'Oh, what can you see?' Huno said and immediately the chair disappeared. 'Little princess, what's on your head?' Huno asked a little girl. The little girl touched her headed and said, 'nothing,'. 'Are you sure?' Huno said and touched her head. Two plates appeared immediately. 'Wow,'. 'Again, do another magic trick,'. 'Teach me,'.

'Okay everyone I'm tired I need to sit,' Huno said and sat down. Immediately, the chair appeared behind him as if it was invisible before. 'Alright one more magic trick. If the sisters agree I'm going to take you all to big house, who would like that?'. 'Me,'. 'So cool,'. 'We get to move to a big house,'. 'Yay yay,'.

'Okay, you all pick your plates up and excuse us, the sisters and I want to have adult talk,' Huno said. 'Okay.' the kids rushed to their plates and left the dining room. 'Sisters, you all should sit,' Huno said. 'Lulu, you can stop now. I'm good,' sister Sarai said. 'Okay,' Luna replied and walked up to Huno, who turned his chair to face the sisters. The sisters sat across and beside him, waiting for him to talk.

'I got a new place for you all. It's big, and I made sure it had security to prevent what happened when I was little from happening again,' Huno said. 'Bless you child,' sister Magdalene said. 'You guys remember Mr Anthony, right?' Huno asked. 'Yeah, he came severally when you disappeared hoping you were back,' sister Sarai said. 'Oh, well, he will be in charge of the orphanage business and financial matters, I bought some shares in the orphanage name, well to prevent conflicts in the future no one in the orphanage has right to question him on how he handles the financial matters if there's something you all need to write a request to sister Magdalene or whoever the head will be in the future and she'll pass it on to him, once every month he'll drop a report on all the business to the head this is to keep the head updated on the shares and business matters so has to prevent unawareness, along the report he will drop two set of money, one will be allowances divided for everyone including you sisters while the other will be for house maintenance, feeding and clothes, Mr Anthony doesn't have the right to interfere with the way the head chooses to handle it, transportation and each of them schooling will be handled by him, sister Magdalene is that okay by you?' Huno said while Luna gave him a shoulder massage. 'Thank you,' sister Magdalene said, smiling. One after the other, the sisters thanked him happily. Some wept softly, others' eyes turned red, and they were filled with joy. The children were going to have a better life from now on. This is a significant reason to be happy.

'You all should thank Luna, not me. She stubbornly held her ground for me to bring her here. I actually didn't want to come back. You all understand why,' Huno said. Sister Sarai stood up and hugged Luna. 'thank you, so so much,' she said. 'It's alright, I did it for myself. I wanted to see his place so I better understand him,' Luna said. 'Alright, you guys should get packing. I want to take Luna out to get some experience,' Huno said. 'Okay, you two lovebirds should get going,' a sister stood up and said. 'No, we aren't going anywhere yet. Sit dear, you got to eat and have your bath,' Luna said. Sister Sarai bust into laughter. 'Huno, you've gotten yourself a lovely lady,' she said as Luna stepped into the kitchen. 'Okay everyone, let's go pack and help the kids,' sister Magdalene stood up and said. Luna stepped out of the kitchen with a big tray and sat beside Huno. As everyone walked away, they saw Luna feeding him. They stopped and were about to comment when Huno started feeding her back.

'That's much better,' sister Sarai said and walked out.

'Wow that was lovely, while watching I felt I was actually in it, how do your people do this?' Luna asked with a half eaten popcorn bucket in hand. Huno laughed and said nothing. Just held her hand and walked away.

'That was terrifying, yet terrific. What's it called again? A roller coaster?' Luna said cheerfully, and Huno nodded.

'Yes I won, in your face,' Luna said, sticking her face close to Huno's. 'Here's your prize, ma'am,' the stall owner said, handing Luna a round alien toy spaceship. She took it and looked at Huno. 'you said I couldn't win it,' she said, pouting. 'Here you go, little one, you can have it,' she said, gifting the gift.

'Ha!!! ice cream, it's sweet, we can probably make this that way right?' Luna asked. 'It shouldn't be hard, I guess,' Huno said. 'I'll go ask the man how it's made,' Luna said, and ran away.

'This is nice,' Luna said. 'What is?' Huno asked. 'This place, this world, being free to move around, it's nice and fun,' Luna replied. 'Don't worry, one day you'll be able to move around over there too,' Huno said. 'Promise?' Luna asked. 'Promise,' Huno replied and looked at the sky. 'We should get back. It's pretty late,' he added. 'Senior sister Mia, we are going now, bye,' Luna said while standing up. Huno laughed while looking at the roses. 'bye Mia,' he said and turned to leave. Luna jumped on his back and yelled, 'pony ride,'. 'Let me know before you jump on me,' Huno said, positioning her well on his back. 'If I do, you won't let me climb on,' Luna retorted. 'Says who? Next time just say pony ride,' Huno replied. 'Okay, onward haha,' Luna said, and laughed happily. Huno shook his head and walked away.
