章 118: A Secret Her Sister Had Kept

"Ate," Emilia sat beside me an hour after dinner. I was in the kitchen nook, writing my latest novel that had been nagging inside my head since last week. "Can I sleep here?"

I looked at my sister. There was an aura of sadness in her that had been there since last year. I don't talk to her much, yet each time I see her, I can see that something deep has been bothering her. 

"You can use Fujin's room he hasn't been back from his home," I reached for the phone beside me and started sending an SMS to Fujin. "He could always crash into Colin's room, upstairs." I smiled when I read Fujin's reply. The guy just sent an OKAY emoji and nothing else. "Done."

"Are you sure that it is okay for me to sleep here?" She asked once more. 

I sighed and called Duncan. The man was on the kitchen counter working and having a video call conference. I heard him excuse himself to ask if I needed anything. 

"Mia wants to sleep here. Yay or nay?"
