章 21: Chapter 21: Whisky and Feelings

Work had been taking a lot of Scott’s time lately, especially since he now had to juggle it between helping Florence with the wedding planning and taking care of the journalists and the press trying to get an official statement from him.

In the meantime, he also couldn’t stop thinking about what his life would become as a married man. He had been spending a bit more time with Florence since a lot of the decisions had to be made together.

They also spent some time introducing their closest friends to each other, and that led to a few enjoyable occasions, where they’d drink together and just talk about plans for the future.

Of course, none of that was true. They were faking it. But deep down, he started to realize he really wanted all of it to become reality. He was getting used to the idea of having Florence in his life, and he didn’t know how to feel about it.
