章 657: I Only Care About Wendy

Just as Wendy was trying to think of another way to send messages to Michael, she heard gunshots.

The sounds were ear-piercing.

Both Wendy and Zen screamed out of fear.

Christian didn't hesitate to take out a handgun after he heard the gunshots. He rolled down the window and shot the car beside his a couple of times.

"Stay down, Wendy!" Christian yelled.

Both Wendy and Zen were horrified by the gunshots, so they held their heads down.

As the driver sped, Wendy's and Zen's hearts raced as well.

Wendy closed her eyes, and images started to flood her mind... gasoline, theater, men in black, Christian, bullets...

Those images used to be blurry, but now, she could piece them all together.

She now remembered why she was pointing that gun at Christian right after he took that bullet for her.

Just as she was trying to remember more, she heard Christian asked her, "Are you okay, Wendy?"
