章 170: She'll Wake Up

Michael kept gazing at Wendy after he repeated what he said. He even refrained from blinking his eyes as he didn't want to miss Wendy's slightest movement.

As he expected, Wendy flicked her fingers again.

Michael started beaming as he found out what words would work on her.

"It seems that she doesn't want me to die," he thought.

Michael then continued, "Then I must let you know, Wendy, Jake, Todd, Mary and even Leah will all follow my suit if you still don't wake up. If you want us all to come with you, then keep sleeping. Jake and Leah are only five years old, how can you be so cruel that you let it happen?"

Michael's fake threat did strike a chord with Wendy and she twitched her fingers again.

After making sure that Wendy was starting to gain her consciousness, Michael popped out of his chair and started waving at the doctors out of the ICU room, "Hey doc, Wendy's moving. She's moving!"
