Aella got out of the powder room after taking care of the ladies who had been trying to win Bane over with their exaggerated voices and actions.

She had slid in a knife from one of the waiter's tray and used it to threaten them. The pure emotion of fear in their eyes made her feel much better as they had attempted to soil her mood.

A frown came on her face when she saw a group of ladies laughing at the table she had left Bane. She couldn't see him anywhere even after looking around.

Or had those ladies tried to get to him?

Aella was about to walk around the hall to find Bane or at least her mother so she could inquire about his whereabouts but her footwear got stuck in the hem of her dress, sending her body forward.

To make it worse, someone bumped his shoulder on her and Aella saw a flash of red eyes before it disappeared as quickly as it came.
