章 116: Chapter 116: Moving in
Cordelia POV
After I finished my events yesterday, I went straight to my dorm, took a quick shower and cook up my dinner. After that, I didn't even bother to clean up as I collapsed and took a good night sleep.
But why I explained what I did? It's because I woke up in the morning to hear sizzling noises and smell delicious food...someone's cooking food in my dorm room and I know who exactly this is.
"Perseus?" I called as my eyes fluttered opened.
"Yolo." the man's head popped up on the side of my bed
"Aaahh." I screamed as I jolted away and fell from the other side of my bed.
"Boo, 'kyahh' would have been cuter." he looked a bit disappointed as I got up and rubbed my head "Anyway, breakfast is almost ready, wash up, your bed hair is cute but we have uniforms and procedures to things."
This shameless guy! How did he get into my room?! The doors can only be unlocked from the inside or unlocked through the tower system, he can't just pick locks and go against the system.
At this point, I won't question free food after my shower, my stocks are low and I'm tired of repeating the same food everyday anyway.

I washed up, got dressed and went to eat his deliciously good food as he then washed the dirty pans and cleaned up my home for me.
"How'd you enter my room?"
"Remember the partner request I sent when we first partnered up? Yeah, you didn't toggle through the settings, so I got access. I asked your brother beforehand and knew that you don't sleep naked, so that's a bonus."
"Lucky I didn't sleep naked then, I was so sweaty yesterday."
"Then I would have imprinted the sight and think of it as payment for all this food."
"You're unusually cheerier than usual, what's up?"
"Oh yeah, remember the recent attack, when I killed the healer and like erase her physical body from existence, I sort of called out a true god, so now that god is sending one of his demigod children after my head and when I killed that one, more is going to come." he laughed.
Is he right in the head? A demigod, an existence that is almost non existent, even the admins or 13 gods are not known to bear any children...if it is known that him and his sister are demigods, and that there are others as well, they are either going to be hunted for being too dangerous or they're going to desperately sought after.
"Anyway, as my partner, they might use you as my weakness, so I'll be staying with you until I deem it safe." he said
"What about the clan?"
"They can take care of themselves, they got Zach and Decker, our division, they'll be fine, so which dorm do you want, we can either stay at yours or mine, or we can even move for a bigger dorm since it'll also be weird to see a guy like me at the female part of the dormitory, I already did, it'll be available tomorrow."
Oh no...
"If you don't want to, it's fine, but just know I will have to sleep on that couch everyday." Perseus said
"We'll move in, as you imply, I'm weak, so I'll need protection and I don't want to be a burden." I sighed as I thought about it

For the week, our class dominated the top spot, even when we got so less points and would qualify automatically no matter what, we continued to boost our morale while doing the opposite for the other classes and easily pass the preliminaries.
Even though the new 2 bedroom dorm is available, I haven't moved in their with Perseus, and despite his cheery attitude, he is super cautious, his eyes are never still to see whether another demigod is close.
And when the preliminaries ended, we got a one week break before the actual tournament where me and Perseus then used this opportunity to move into our new dorm.
When I heard about moving in with a guy, I never thought that it would be like this, I even called my dad about this, but apparently with great reluctance, he suggest that it would be better if I moved in with him if someone strong is after his head.
'Just because one demigod is sent after me, there's no rule stopping the person from recruiting help, just bear with it for a short while.' was what Perseus told me as he helped me packed my stuff.

Luckily the new dorm got 2 separate bathrooms, it had the 2 bedrooms, a living area and a decent kitchen, and I get all of it for free as well with no rent or interest, it's great.
"Rest well today, we'll go clear a first floor dungeon tomorrow." Perseus said
"What, why?"
"We're a part of a clan, it's in our contract to occasionally clear some." he answered "Do you seriously we'll rest for the whole week?"
Right, I forgot about that, if I want my paycheck, I need to do my job.
"Are we doing an ascension quest or just a regular one?"
"We'll see based on tomorrow, anyway I'll try not to break into your room unless your life is in danger or I got something important to say, I will not make any advances against you, so just live like you usually do, I'll mostly stay in my room reading something or playing video games."
We then established some basic rules like we should inform the other if we invite someone over, even relatives and something like that. As nervous as I am, I rest for the day as I know the next day is going to be hell.

3rd person POV
Tachima and Benjamin made their way in this super dark throne room approaching a jade throne, upon it is this shadowy figure, they can't even make out the figure of this person, what race they are, what height they are, the only thing they can see is the jade colored pupil of their eye.
"My lord, we like to apologize for our failure, we never thought that the queen would be curious and try to find the jade fragment." Ben said
"No worries." the shadowy person replied in an unrecognizable deep voice "No one would have thought that she would get a ranked to help her, but work hard on getting it back, help me get back what's mine."
