Perseus POV
"Good bye, sir Ben...Dover."
"You don't have to call me by my full name, duke Silver." The viscount said as he helped led us out.
I sensed no unordinary magic apart from their expensive magic defense system.
"Alright, who next? Stacy Rect, Tachima Balls?"
"Tachima Ball." Struan corrected
"Still funny regardless. Too bad that those are the only funny names."
We then went and checked all the 12 nobles, one revealed that they do possess an indestructible piece of jade, but it's not the same one, the only ones who seem to genuinely know are Ben Dover and Tachima Ball.
We went back to discuss things with Valentina, I contacted her earlier and she had some spies keep tabs on them to see who they contacted and luckily she even have spies working as servants and they confirmed that they are currently nowhere to be found.
"We can't go too aggressive, they'll relocate or escape and we won't find them easily next time, we have to know why they have it as well." Diana suggested
"Yeah, we have no idea why they're willing to lie in front of the royal authority...they either know the true purpose of the key or they're utilizing the jade piece in some way that we do not know about."
"Yeah, so we'll rest for now, we'll pretend that we're not onto them and that means, no movement at all." Struan said "We won't investigate in anyway whatsoever as we actually rest, and we'll strike when they lower their guard."
"Aww, I don't want to go back to my tip, it's so boring, their training are just my warm ups."
"Come on, little brother, I'll investigate the fairy world while you get to do nothing, that's a good thing." Diana said
"I'm not doing nothing, I have to be on my tip toes at all time, you know. A raider can never truly relax till they retire, and I might literally get killed at any moment."
"You can stay with me." Valentina suggested "Though your own food is your own responsibility, you still have to follow the academy's rule of procuring your own food."
"Oh no." Diana intervened "I can't leave you 2 alone."
"Why?"
"It's clear that you 2 have something going on that I do not like, unless you plan to seriously date, I will not allow this."
"I'm old enough to make my own decisions."
"Ha funny, young man." Diana responded "No means no, don't you already have your new partner?"
"We're not dating, we just occasionally go on dates and I make her training harder than usual by angering our classmates."
"Oh, so when will you 2 are technically 'dating'?" she asked
"Until one of us say that we're exclusive and the other accepts."
"So you need a declaration? How does that work?" Struan asked with a slight baffled face
"Did you date women before?"
"Well we just continuously date and it was sort of unspoken that we're together."
"Well I barely know how dating work either, I've only been with Emma."

"You guys actually got hurt from that?"
Everyone was so beaten up at the end of the day when we met back up at the hotel. They seem to all run out of mana and they were healed enough to only be recognizable while looking somewhat normal and walk properly, sheesh, can't imagine how embarrassing they were when they had to walk all the way here.
Maybe the instructors have kink of exposing students to public humiliation?
"They're normal, you're the abnormal one here." Craig replied
"But I get hurt too?"
"Yes, but your level of getting hurt is like 100 dragons or something."
"100? That's a bit of a stretch, why the hell would 100 dragons hurt me? They're only S class or above, just get some distance and take them down from afar, and once they're close, grab your teammates and feed the dragons, one by one till they're full, when they are, you kill them."
"And where will you find enough teammates for that?!"
"Plenty of people wants to kill themselves, it helps solves overpopulation at the same time!"
To the readers, I can just make distance and shoot them down from far away, even if it is in close combat, I can just cut them down or blow them apart with my fist.
"Anyway, it's not that bad, those royals guards are talented, but there's a reason why none of them are part of the top 100 and earned their place as a named, I mean, I mean, only like 80% of them graduated from raider academy, they're not that strong."
I then noticed at the corner of my eye that a couple staff were keeping their eyes on me...spies, they got spies on me, they can't be secret members of the Mirage Legion either, no matter how secretive a member is, you can't hide yourselves completely.
And these guys are not recognizable, but their skills are similar level to the ones in my division. To think that they also got people on every corner and to think they dare to place spies on me, a ranked...this means that they have associations with some other guys who are either dumb enough to do this or powerful enough to not care about me.
Valentina's first husband also managed to hire some strong raiders apart from the ones from the clan members he managed to rally...and we never really find out where they're from, and those guys managed to bypass the legion's eye, we always know names of hidden strong guys.
And yet...there might be a competition for the monopoly of the jade pieces. And the treasure Ezio have...it could be the only one or there could be multiple and this make this whole thing even more interesting and harder for me.
The tower possess secrets outside the tower and this jade key is one of it, how the legion found out that there's only 14 of them or how this quest came to be...
The tower is made up of so many things that I wanna know...when I get out of here and climbed that thing seriously once and for all...heh...no gods can stop me on tracks.
