Cordelia POV
My eyes fluttered awake as I saw a bright light above me, I seem to be on some fancy sofa and I got up seeing many others who are resting in this sort of guest room, there were only our class and some snacks and drinks on the table.
"...So wait, Perseus and the queen was all true then?" Craig asked and shook Emma's shoulder
"Stop it." Emma requested "You're my superior, and yes, I'm just as shocked as you. The queen of arguably the strongest race and Perseus...Well Surprise is putting it lightly."
I can't believe I embarrassed myself in front of the queen, my family with the exception of my mom, they're going to kill me if they hear about this.
And that Perseus...damn him, kissing me and giving me mixed signals...even if they queen said we can have him, going after him is like declaring war against her, no guy or girl is stupid enough to take on that offer.
It's like basically going after the queen's man.
Damn him and his stupid dumb smile every time he gets kissed by a girl.
"Where are we?"
"The guest room, the queen and Perseus have something important to discuss." Greg answered "Goblins are greedy, but we are not dumb, there's a reason why despite her beauty, no decent goblins or hobgoblins want to go for the queen of nature spirits. Just say one word that makes her mad and you're done.
"Where's the princess?"
"She left to the restroom or something, but for now, enjoy yourselves before the queen arrives."

Perseus POV
I learn a secret of the tower, but nowhere does it say anything about a jade key, so the best chance I got is at the world tree where it's only of the nature spirits sacred treasure.
And to think that you can learn secrets of the tower outside as well...and they have hidden puzzles and arrays that only I can see, it seems that only other demigods can do this.
"Tomorrow, I'm going to need your permission to explore the world tree and its surroundings freely as my class are doing their tour."
"Are the academy trips so relaxing?" she asked "You students are not training at all."
"Oh, I know the schedule, they will, they better enjoy it for now. It's going to be hellish for them, I'll just breeze through em easily, the academy can't really give me too hard of a challenge without endangering everyone else."
"You know, the news I keep hearing about the new ranker is surprising me everyday, the other day was the confirmation of your father whose record does not exist anywhere, and the only confirmation was that it came from your mouth." she sighs "And now you wear the human Japanese clothing, I don't know whether you're just cosplaying or your mother is one of them."
"I don't do cosplays."
"You can say that again." she grumbled
This queen, I swear.
"Anyway, I'll be at the world tree tomorrow, with me there, even though the security at the world tree would be increased, most people's eyes and attention would be on me, you should use that chance to do whatever you want." she said

We went to the guest room where everyone is at and it was funny to see them apologize to the queen for their earlier embarrassing actions, stuttering throughout.
And as much as I like how cool I look wearing a formal kimono, it's starting to get super uncomfortable, my feet are hurting me. Cordelia came up to me and elbow mw her hardest at my ribs.
"Ow."
"I know it doesn't hurt, so stop pretending." she pouted "Was it fun to kiss her in front of me?"
"Are you...perhaps jealous, my dear princess Lia?"
"Envious and jealous, yes. Also stop calling me princess."
Cordelia POV
Emma told me once that Perseus prefers women who are straightforward, don't know why she helped me with that advice.
"Ah tomorrow, I'll be going astray again, but I'll be calling my sister and your brother over since they can help me." he told me as he placed his hand on top of my head and caress it.
"Is there a reason why you only recruit nature spirits to work as a partner?"
"I'm a duke, though I have no land and it's still technically mostly an honorary title, I still have certain advantages when I work with nature spirits."
"Like what? Making them fall for you at first sight?"
"In a sense yes, if I really want to, I can make it so that spirits enjoy working under me no matter how difficult and life threatening the job is, and with their feelings of wanting to serve me, they will find it hard to oppose."
This is why I'm scared of nobles, depending on how weak your wills are, my dad told me that they can force orders upon you and that's why their is no one definite line of royalty, the current royals will last as royalty till another being similar to the current queen born, it might take 4-5 more generations though.
The gods of our race does not want one line to hold monopoly of power.
"Can't you just be a regular student over a ranker for once?"
"I am? Why did you think I came back?" he asked
"Don't stop your hands."
"Ok?"
"Is it because you wanted to walk alongside one of the most beautiful woman in existence?" I asked pointing at the queen.
"That's ambitious, but I warped us in front of the door, so we didn't walk."
Damn he's smart, always having a counter for everything even though I try to distract him by keeping him caressing my head.
3rd person world
Struan and Diana who got called by Perseus to help him search for the jade piece that can potentially be at the world tree have arrived and met up.
"I'm finally here after so long, everything is new, so don't expect me to know directions." Struan said to Diana
"Yeah, I don't know much either, my brother spent a bit over a week here after I left last time." Diana replied "He was apparently with you, so you should remember some spots, it wasn't that long ago."
"He said that he didn't return because he was with you though."
"Heh?" they both exclaimed
