章 56: Chapter 56: Who sent you?
Cordelia POV
I can see why those 3 are assigned in Perseus' division in the clan now, I feel like a black sheep compared to them even I'm technically also in the same division, they're all so powerful.
"Surprised?" Emma asked
"A bit. Yes."
Wyatt, a vampire, should be greatly weakened during the day time, but despite that, he is holding his own. He uses daggers and claws to slash and bleed out the enemies and used blood magic to solidify those blood into spears and flying blades to attack against the enemies.
Once they get too close for comfort, he use those blood to turn into barriers and shields to defend himself and in that split second, he'll cause more injuries to make them bleed out more, it seems he also has the ability to make them bleed more quickly than normal.
But as of now, he is the weakest and is only mostly responsible to help distract the enemies while Bora do most of the offense, he has complete control of the wind in our surrounding, he shaped them into lances, created hurricanes and even create storms.
His body is surrounded by lightning and his skin started the turn black like a rain cloud and he shot them out and blow everything apart. Terra used her magic to create giant rock golems to fight the beasts and is mostly responsible for protecting everyone.
She can create barriers out of stones and helped watched Wyatt's and Bora's back, she occasionally cause earthquake and summon rocky spikes from the grounds to kills some beasts too. but if some get too close, she is an Oread, a nymph who lives in the mountains...she just beat them up with her fist.
She might not look muscular but she sure does have the strength to prove anyone wrong.
Elliot and Richard on the other hand were even more impressive.
Elliot is coated with a yellowish electric armor and you can see that the air around him is constantly being burned as you can see intense smoke and even smell it. He jumped to his spot and as he landed, there is an explosion of crackling electricity that boomed and can be heard from anywhere.
Richard was using his whip like sword that extends and retract to his will, many of his enemies are cut up to many pieces as he walk. But on his side wasn't just beasts but this vampire swordsman who were control a few of the beasts with this sort of pan flute and is fighting Richard one on one.
At least Perseus is right in giving me those novels, there are always one of those guys who tame beasts with musical instruments.
Amongst the current rankers, it seems like Richard is the least flashy, but that doesn't make him any less efficient in slaying beasts. The temperature is high around us though due to the heat emitted from Perseus' direction. As a naiad, I have high resistance to it, but to think I am sweating, those flames aren't to be estimated.
"Cordelia, focus please, our job is to help heal the and send constant support to those 3 as even all 5 of us combine cannot rival one of the rankers." Emma reminded me and put me back on focus
"Say, Perseus is wearing a suit, isn't it hot over there? Won't he pass out or something?"
"Don't worry, he can just use magic to cool himself down if it's that hot, but he worked with her for a long time, this kind of heat should be normal for him."
"So have you ever seen him use that gold and silver eyes thing with the suit?"
"The eyes? Twice. The suit, this is a first." she answered

Perseus POV
"Hmph, you aren't that weak after all." the minotaur mocked "C'mon, take out your sword and fight me with your full strength."
He threw a strong left hook which I blocked very easily. My right eye greatly boost my physical strength, so this much power is nothing.
"I am, I can only let them all out better with my fist from the beginning anyway."
I then threw my strongest strike against his gut with my right fist. His skin is tough, but not unbeatable as I can see his facial expression changed from sheer arrogance to pain as I can guess that some of his internal organs got greatly damaged.
Due to my strike, his head got thrown forward a bit, I then threw a left hook to his jaw. He flew away and I went to help my sister against the other 4. As she was fending them off and kept them busy. I warped right behind one and delivered a powerful roundhouse kick to their head and blew it off their body.
The other 3 tried to back away after they saw that, but I am quicker, I dash forward and throw my hand in a claw motion to one, it went through the chest and pierces their heart.
Diana summon out ships made of flames to catch the other 2 and stop them in their tracks. She then sent a large burst of mana to travel on the whips and once that abundant mana reached their targets, those guys started to get incinerated alive and screamed loudly in pain.
"I'll go help the others." Diana said "We only won easily because we went all out, can't say the same for those under your division."
"Go ahead."
I went to find the minotaur that I blew away earlier, grabbed him by the horn and warp in the air and float up there over the beasts.
"It seems like the eyes of Horus truly is powerful, no one in this tower should rival your physical strength." the minotaur laughed
"Who sent you?"
"I can survive this drop, ya know?"
"Answer the question. Either way, I will find it out, so make it easy on yourself."
The minotaur just laughed uncontrollably so I sent out million of jolts of electricity to electrocute him, but something's strange...it didn't affect him at all.
"You realize it now?" he mocked "I'm immune to lightning magic."
"Is it Zeus?"
"You're smarter than you look." he grinned without a care for his life
I then dropped him.
<Ray of damnation.>
A large black ray then blasted from the sky and killed every monsters below me and leave a super large hole in the ground that goes dozens of meters deep. It left no trace of the minotaur.
But Zeus, huh...that's amusing.
