章 29: Chapter 29: Angel
|Someone pointed out that I only put 11 races when I was supposed to list out 13, I have forgotten to add gnomes and dwarves to it, so the updated 13 major races are now humans, elves, dwarves, vampires, ghouls, faeries, orcs, goblins, giants, gnomes, dwarves, nature spirits, and beast folk.|
Cordelia POV
Perseus even took the initiative to cook us lunch since we all left early in the morning, let me just say, delicious. His sister joined us for it and everyone got a bit nervous, but only for a moment as the food was so delicious.
I want to live with him now, if I use the excuse of him having to watch over me, and when we have to hunt our own food, I can just help him hunt and let him cook all of it.
Perseus POV
"What are we studying this week again?"
"We're supposed to go into an A ranked pseudo dungeon and watch how you perform, well a group of veteran raiders were supposed to do that, but we got a ranker now, so you're doing it." Lia answered
I gotta join the discipline committee, show off what I can do in an A ranked dungeon and after this week, a fight to the death, 29 chapters and this novel is already giving me stress. Might as well just skip this whole thing and retire.
"Lia, come on, let's go on an actual date, I'll take you to the aquarium on the first floor."
"Wait, you serious?"
"Yeah."
"Are you sure that you're not just trying to find some hidden treasure that we have to get in a body of a whale to do so?"
"No."
"Well then how else did you get so strong?" Greg asked
"I found a mythic ranked skill as I then regress through time when I died of old age after I cleared the tower 10 years in the future, I then used those knowledge to get the weaver of calamity as my teacher and change the future."
"Oh I'll write that dow...Wait, are you serious?"
"No, of course not. I reincarnated from another world where I was the demon king. This world is easy mode bro."
"Don't, I tried." Lia advised "I got him to kiss me and everything, but he never answered it seriously."
"I told you, I got an unclassified ranked skill that help me become a dangerous threat."
"Maybe he is a demon, no one can be smart, attractive, talented and powerful all in one." Alvis suggested "Or an angel even, who says that the 13 gods can't fake his race and he's in on it."
"You think that an angel would look this good? Have you seen the bible? About 70% of the angels in this tower look like that."
"Why would I read a bible? I'm a vampire."
"Who says a vampire can't believe in god? It's kind of funny just thinking about it."
I then search through my system contact list and messaged the 13 gods.
'Make it an S rank dungeon with a S+ rank boss that's an angel, it'll be funny to see their reactions. Besides, it seems like they're underestimating danger, don't kill them, just give them a nightmare.'
It took a moment, but *ting*.
'We'll give them a good scare.'

Cordelia POV
It was a surprisingly good date, the guy is just full of surprises, it seems like him hanging out with his sister passed on some good traits. Stupid...perfect...guy, if I keep spending time with him, I might actually fall for the guy, hell I already have a sort of crush of him and we knew each other for just about 2 weeks.
We're currently gearing up for an A ranked pseudo dungeon as we will watch first hand on what a ranker would do in a high level fight, there are footage of rankers fighting, but then the experience isn't the same.
Craig was a retired A ranked level raider, so he will take care of us while Perseus will handle the rest. but the moment we stepped through the portal, something was weird. The portal disappeared all of a sudden and Craig, an instructor of the academy who should have authority over a pseudo dungeon seems to lost control too.
'Emergency quest: The pseudo dungeon seems to have turned into an actual dungeon, defeat the boss and you shall win a reward based on your contribution percentage.'
'Quest ranked: S. Enemies: 0/1.'
"What the hell is with your luck?! The academy has gone to shit the moment you stepped in!" Craig exclaimed and cursed
"Hey, on the bright side, there's only 1 enemy in here, the boss."
"You do realize that an S ranked quest boss isn't really S ranked, right? The smaller mobs would be A rank at the very least while the boss itself would be S+ ranked, that's just one level below your threat level. But with us here, you might as well be on the same level."
"You're underestimating a ranked too much, boss. Cuz we always prevail."
We're currently in this white temple, it was beautiful, but no one has time to think about that, this is a dungeon. SO we arranged ourselves into formation with the homeroom teacher at the back and Perseus at the front.
Perseus changed from his S ranked outfit into his SS ranked one, his jacket looked basically the same but it got a lot of infused metal parts and plating, and so does his pants. His black mask got a silver outline of flexible metal.
As for his sword, it has a slight curve, but it's just slightly, not to the point where it's a katana. The back of the blade is black while the front is the dark grey.
It's the gears that he will use for Brennan, and it looked like
We walked out of the temple and onto clouds, you'd think we'd be falling through them, but it's completely solid, it's like a super fluffy marshmallow.
"Do not be afraid." A voice came from the sky.
And he was right, oh my god, angels sure are terrifying. I think I might be traumatized cuz it was horrifying, luckily angels aren't part of the major races, they aren't even counted as a minor race since they exist only within the tower.
'Boss: Thrones. Ranked: SS'
"Ah, the more horrifying one, we were speaking about you guys yesterday too, talk about luck." Perseus laughed
Rankers sure are different, he just laughed at the horrifying creature.
