"Well, that was shit!" Harald stated.

Groaning, I picked myself up from the ground and stared at the door in shock. Arianne had just left, her anger palpable in the air. I could still feel the force of her powers as she blasted me across the hall, the impact ringing in my ears. She was right to be angry, I knew that. I had pushed her too far this time.

As I replayed the events in my mind, I couldn't help but feel a pang of guilt. I felt as if these was all my fault, it was very obvious she hadn't been expecting things to go this way. She expected me to support her decision with Langmore but what I said still stands.

A court of the lord can't just be dismissed from his position. There are protocols to this sort of things and even if I wanted to strangle Langmore and kill him on the spot, I knew I couldn't do that.
