I woke up to the soft sound of my husband steady breathing beside me. The room was bathed in a gentle light, and a feeling of contentment washed over me as I watched him sleep peacefully. His face was relaxed a contented look on his features that made my heart swell with love.

I reached out and lightly traced my fingers from his thick brows down to his thick eyelashes. They fluttered open, revealing two mesmerizing grey eyes that never failed to captivate me.
