章 375: CHAOS IN THE THRONE ROOM

 The twin eventually managed to fall asleep after filling themselves with cookies and other treats that were on my tray. I played with them along with Ivan for a little bit before they finally got tired and fall asleep. They also got me exhausted, I swear I don't know where the twins got their energy from. Definitely not from me, I was always gentle has a child but I suspect maybe it's because I didn't have anyone to play with. It definitely has to be from Ivan, he was rebellious as a child. I know that because I witnessed it first hand, that was what brought us together after all.

I stared over at the Ivan who was staring at the twins with a smile on his face that made my heart melt a little. Ivan seemed to notice my gaze on him because he chose to raise his grey eyes to mine at that moment. As if I did something bad, I quickly looked away, cursing myself afterwards for choosing to be a coward at that moment.
