IVAN POV
The fire cackled nearby as Rollin tossed more woods into it to keep us warm. The forest was undeniably chilly tonight, more cold than usual. Finn was indeed right. There was something strange and unusual about this wood. It was a loss that we lost Finn earlier this morning. His mind had been shattered completely by whatever horror he had seen in the woods. Nikita and Madea tried all they could, they did their best to try and fix Finn's mind but it was to no avail.
He did try to tell us something though, something about a girl hidden in the woods and her being hurt. Madea tried to invade his mind, trying to figure out the information that he was trying to say. In the end Finn gave up the ghost, in the end he couldn't endure it.
"It isn't your fault you know!" Kiran said coming to sit beside me.
I snorted in response. "I pushed too hard!"
