"BASTARD!" Kiran yelled as he unleashed his sword and pointed it at the guard's neck.

Istared at Arianne where she laid on the ground, blood seeping out of her stomach, saturating the dress she wore to her body. I ran towards her, kneeling on the ground to cradle her body. Reaching to feel the wound on her stomach, I can feel it closing up. She was already healing! I thought to myself as relief flooded through my body. With a growl, I turned to stare at the guard who had stabbed my wife!

"Who asked you?" I asked him but he didn't speak and instead bowed his head at me.

"Speak or I'll have your head severed from your body in an instant!" Kiran growled at him.

The guard immediately sobered up. "Forgive me but I was only trying to protect Lord Langmore from the queen!"

"And you did well!" Lord Langmore spoke up before I could speak up.
