King Ronald sat opposite me wearing his signature smirk as he sat across me in the garden, a table Glaced between us filled with wine and refreshments. Couple of feet away from us stood some guards who were keeping watch. Ivan still wasn't comfortable leaving me alone with King Ronald, even though I had said repeatedly that I could take care of myself. Ivan still didn't feel comfortable leaving me with King Ronald who merely arched a brow up at me when he saw the guards.

"Someone seems paranoid." King Ronald said gazing at the guards who were keeping watch.

I rolled my eyes at him, not willing to entertain whatever nonsense he had planned for today. "I mean no disrespect your highness but how about you just get to the point already.

"Tell me something your highness " King Ronald said leaning towards me slightly. "Do you really think these guards could protect you? From me?"
