I walk closer to the shelf and check it. I am positive. Someone tried rearranging this part but missed the correct arrangement before leaving my room. I always arrange my books according to their classification, height, and thickness. The last row was not the arrangement I did last week.

Someone did come here and was looking for something, especially books. Someone must look for the ancient text, the translation, and Stacey's journal.

But why didn't my pack alert me about this?

I walk to the hidden vault behind the painting, a few feet away from the bookshelf. I punched the code and saw them sitting safely inside, including the Carina. Before changing my clothes, I took them out and put them inside a knapsack. I already took a shower back at Rebel's pad. My original plan was to sleep and check the woman at my bunker in the afternoon. But the book is not safe here. I'm not even sure if it was the book the intruder wanted.
