"Something wrong, young master? Your complexion..."

Alex couldn't help but worry as he saw Ale's pale face. Of course, it was mainly due to mana exhaustion. But Ale couldn't just say that out loud.

"Nothing's wrong. It's just.. Please take a seat first."

Ale was still thinking about the right words to chose to explain the situation to Alex. He had to make sure that this guy understood his intentions clearly before making a decision.

"I heard that a letter arrived from the capital. Is that what made you so worried?"

Alex asked as he poured Ale a cup of tea before taking a seat. This guy was starting to treat Ale's tent like his own home recently. There was no hesitation or unease in any of his actions at all.

And the fact that he already knew about the letter could only mean that he was getting along with the knights as well. Ale didn't know if it was a good thing or not but he just let it be.
