章 63: The Death of A King
Both the Golden Company and the Second Sons had been successfully recruited by Pentos and had signed a contract with the Council of Magister's.
Of course this didn't go unnoticed as the other Free cities was alerted to this as rumors began to spread about Pentos hiring both Mercenary companies as when that happens there is only one thing that is about to happen and that is a war.
But some people don't know that the war has already started.
Pentos didn't inform any of the other Free cities because they thought that they could be the saviors by retaking Braavos from the Free Folk army and reaping the rewards while at it.
But the merchant wasn't the only one to escape Braavos in time as other's have too and they have started to spread rumors about the fall of Braavos as well.
In a couple of weeks the news would have spread to the rest of the free cities and soon enough an even bigger war will be waged on the Continent.
The Second Son's and Golden Company had begun to make their way to Pentos where they would assemble supplies and join up with the Pentos Army to attack Braavos from the Sea.
As such a massive Fleet of ship's was being assembled in the Port of Pentos to carry the massive army to attack Braavos.
The situation in Essos was heating up and soon both Continent would be involved in a massive war.

Meanwhile in Westeros the army of King Renly Baratheon was gathering up at Storm's End preparing for the Assault on Kingslanding.
The army was 60k strong with powerful knight's and mercenaries eager for glory. This army was the greatest threat to Kingslanding at this moment since they could just march by land and siege Kingslanding within a Month.
While Stannis Baratheon was assembling a massive fleet to attack Kingslanding by the sea. But he was also scheming with the Red Priest to kill his brother Renly and take his army.
Because if he can get his army then he can have an advantage over the forces of Kingslanding in both number's and the quality of their army.
And soon enough that time had come as the Red Priest had released some type of Demonic Spirit that she called her child into Renly's camp.
The Demonic Spirit moved through the night in the form of a shadow seeking out King Renly Baratheon.
Inside the tent for King Renly he was talking with a messenger from House Stark hoping to work together to get rid of the Tywin Lannister and House Lannister.
King Stark wanted to work together with Renly to attack from both sides and surround them.
King Renly had his most trusted knight a female named Brienne of Tarth standing beside him during the talk's.
But even that couldn't save him as once the Messenger left the tent Renly took off his armor with the help of Brienne to prepare to go to sleep.
And once his armor was off he stood in front of the mirror as Brienne put his armor away. Then a Gust of wind had flew into the tent.
While Brienne wasn't looking a Shadow with the face of Stannis had stabbed Renly in his back directly through his heart killing him.
Brienne shouted "NOOOO!" which alerted two guards who came into the tent to see their King dead and Brienne standing over him.
The two didn't even think about what actually happened and just said "You will pay for this Bitch"
The two of them charged at Brienne with their sword's drawn hoping to kill her for killing their King. But Brienne drew her sword and defended herself from the two men.
Brienne while she was a woman she was no average woman as she was above average in terms of fighting making her better than most men.
So when these two knights came charging at her she didn't hesitate to kill them both.
Once they were dead she went back to crying for failing to protect her King who placed so much trust in her.
She cried for what seemed like minutes before more guards came in and they saw the seen in front of them.
"Don't move, you'll pay for this" Said the men as they charge her
Brienne grabbed her sword and prepared to defend herself yet again but the there were too many of them for her to fight.
She didn't want to leave her King even though he was dead. But if she dies then she can't avenge his death.
So she made the most difficult choice and ran away. She cut open a side of the tent and ran away while the knight's chased after her. They had managed to follow her for awhile but because it was night time they had eventually lost her.
Brienne wouldn't stop and would keep going until she get's far away.
Meanwhile the chaos in the camp had spread like wildfire and everybody knew that Renly was dead. The army without their King had started to disband.
40k of the army had went to Stannis Baratheon side while the rest fled throughout the land.
Now Stannis has an army to compete with House Lannister and the Child who sit's on his Iron Throne.
He must wait a few more weeks first before he can assemble a big enough fleet then he will attack Kingslanding with all his forces.
